Huion A3 Light Box for Tattoo Tracing - AC Powered

I took a while before I wrote this review (I don't write many reviews - only ones that really excel or crap-out). I am hole-heartedly impressed with this. At nearly half the price as the similar sized one from Art O'Graph, much thinner, way brighter, yadda, yadda, yadda, you can't go wrong with this one. It doesn't have the aluminum frame so it can be thinner than a pencil. It has uniform lighting and ALSO HAS A DIMMER!!! It is a touch-dimmer, so it can be dropped so you can adjust to get the right amount of toplight. the 23.5" can support a 11"x17" with room at the bottom for your wrist/palm (nice, so your hand doesn't feel like it's falling off a cliff). This thing gets bright enough to shine thru 2 pieces of 2-ply Bristol and still be bright. The ONLY complaint that i'd have is there is no off switch, so I simply unplug it. It's light enough to swap off of my drawing board, but thin enough to not have to take it off than much. The Art O'Graph has a bit of a lip around the frame; this one doesn't. The face is a flat piece of acrylic, so rulers won't be problems. You can even use a T-Square on it (like the C-Thru JR18. Take the Nestea plunge and just buy one!

I hesitated to pay $95 for a light box, but this is worth every penny. It's not a box at all, more like a tablet or board, which lays flat on my drafting table (it does have low-profile non-slip feet attached to each corner underneath). One button turns it on and adjusts the brightness, and will remember that setting. So easy! And beautiful. Not clunky or complicated. The LED lights are bright and even all throughout. All my grids show through any paper I would use for calligraphy, even Arches watercolor paper and Yupo. I can tilt the board easily if I have my artwork taped to the surface, and I can prop it up to increase the drawing angle. The cord is only about 40'' long, but it reaches the floor from a normal table height where I have it plugged into a power strip. Otherwise, it's a perfect product!

When I first took the unit out of it's packaging the first thing that struck me about it was how solid it felt. The unit is manufactured impeccably with a sleek form. The second thing that struck me was how slim the unit is. It is only half a cm thick (give or take a mm). I was amazed by how light weight and slim it was. The light itself is quite bright at it's max setting and is adjustable. There is only one very minor gripe in that the power cord is a little bit short, but it is not so much an issue as to detract from overall satisfaction. For the price it far exceeds expectations and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone interested in a quality piece of equipment for a very reasonable price point.

I'd been looking into buying a light board for ages but couldn't justify it until recently. I went back to Amazon to confirm which model/brand I wanted, and noticed this one, which hadn't been listed before. There were only three reviews at the time, and it looked much more promising then any others I had considered, so I went ahead and ordered it. I am glad I did! This board is very large, sleek, and solidly built. It takes just a bit of getting used to when it comes to adjusting the light with the power button, but all in all it's wonderful. Easy to store, easy to use, and it's been extremely instrumental in allowing me to make better line art. The only downside is that the power cord is a tad bit short, so I have to use an extension cord as my desk is a little too far away from an outlet.

What a game changer! I used to depend on a sunny day or messy artist graphite tracing paper to trace my patterns onto my watercolor paper . With the Huion, I can trace in any room with a power plug and anytime I feel like it. The light is bright enough to see the pattern through the thick watercolor paper and can be adjusted to several brightness levels so that your eyes are always comfortable. I highly recommend this product for any artist that wants an easy way to transfer drawings .

This is a sleek LED alternative to the traditional light box. Works well and looks beautiful. I really love how thin it is. Looks like a large iPad. Ample size for just about any common need. I like that it came with 4 small pads on the back of the panel. Mine had a small chip on one edge when I received it but that does not affect its performance. Perhaps it could be packaged more securely. Pros: Thin, bright, cool and attractive with a large flat workspace. Cons: mine had a small (less than 2mm) chip on one edge when I received it

Fabulous light box. Easy to use and very good light! I am taking watercolor lessons, and while I continue to do my value study sketches freehand, I wanted a light box to be able to draw my sketch onto the watercolor paper without much erasing. This light box makes that possible. I love it!

This is a cheap hunk of junk. It got the job done though, for a short bit. Sadly, it decided to stop lighting up today. I can't get in touch with the seller for a replacement or a return. Poor product, poor customer service.

Je suis extrêmement satisfait de cette table lumineuse ! C’est un produit qui tient entièrement ses promesses. La surface est grande (48x36cm sur le modèle que j'ai acheté), parfaitement adaptée pour le dessin, le traçage ou le travail graphique en général. La luminosité est uniforme sur toute la surface, ce qui était un point important car je m'en sert également pour des projets photo (en utilisant la tablette en arrière plan pour faire ressortir les objets placés dessus). L'éclairage est suffisamment puissant pour traverser du papier épais. La luminosité est réglable, ce qui permet d’adapter facilement la lumière selon le type de papier ou le moment de la journée pendant lequel vous travaillez. Très agréable pour éviter la fatigue oculaire. Point de vue esthétique, elle est vraiment très fine, c'est même impressionnant ! On est très loin des anciennes tables lumineuse à néon qu'on confectionnait. Le gain de confort est énorme ! Elle est également bien finie, esthétique et bien conçue. En résumé, elle apporte tout ce qu'on peut attendre d'une table lumineuse et le tout pour un prix très correct, je recommande à 100%.

J'ai acheté cette table lumineuse pour l'offrir à mon copain à noël il y a déjà 2 ans! Il l'utilise au quotidien pour dessiner (il est tatoueur) et elle n'a jamais présenté aucun soucis de fonctionnement. La possibilité de régler la luminosité est très pratique pour ne pas se faire mal aux yeux. La table lumineuse a été livrée avec un adaptateur pour les prises françaises et était très bien emballée (heureusement car elle est en verre!). Elle est vraiment très belle et super plate, très pratique! Je pense que je vais en racheter une autre pour moi même. Le prix défi toute concurrence, je recommande à 100%, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés :)

Ligera, muy brillante y de gran respuesta. La recomendaría mucho, especialmente mientras el siguiente modelo más grande no baje un poco de precio. El espacio de la pantalla es más grande de A3, lo que permite trabajar muy cómodamente. Una gran compra. Como detalles que yo mejoraría: cable de alimentación más largo porque es muy, muy corto. El enchufe no es apto para nuestro país pero ya viene con un adaptador de calidad, así que no hay problema. Un botón de bloqueo del interruptor no estaría mal porque el botón de encendido es tan sensible que hasta que no te acostumbras lo tocas a menudo sin darte cuenta y te apaga o varía la intensidad de la luz. Pero en general, creo que es un muy buen producto a un precio interesante, cuando el siguiente modelo vale más del doble.

This is a great piece of kit. It’s large, has adjustable brightness, and of course comes with a charging pack. You can’t use it without it being plugged in (common, but I just wasn’t aware this would be one of those types - no big deal, just a shame I can’t charge it up and take it with me) - works very well on all thickness of paper and is easy to clean if anything gets on there. Doesn’t heat up like crazy and is overall a pleasure to use.
