This is just what I needed!
These ProTaper Risers are sweet. They are very light. Love the gloss black. Only wish the bolt was threaded the whole way. I used a tap and die set to finish my treads so I wouldn’t I have to use about eight washers as spacers. I just don’t like the look the quality is great and the fit was perfect for my pro taper contour TV, mid handlebars. I decided to mod my 2003 ZX nine ninja and put dirt bike handlebars on it. I think they look great so far. Feels very solid.

Great product for my WR250R
Used these on a 2013 WR250R. They fit and look is excellent. The bottom bolt looks long when you put them in place but they don't bind anything in the steering. Get a set of these to go with a set of big bars for your dual sport. The difference from stock is excellent!

Heavy duty, high quality.
This was perfect for installing oversized bars on KX250f.If your Kawasaki has the double mounting position in the triple clamp. You will like have to cut the bolts shorter to clear some of the wires and ecu mount. See attached photos.

I had some minor problems with installing this on a DR650
So pictured here are the stock dr650 mounts, the bolts that go through the original rubber bushings are smaller bolts than what is supplied with the pro taper risers. I had to drill out the stock rubber/metal bushings to make it work. Also the supplied bolts that fit into the risers aren’t hex shaped. If you need to supply a longer bolt of your own you’ll have to modify the hex head with a grinder. I later added a platform to plug in a gps and a cell phone, the maybe 3/8 steel that is installed between the risers was too large for the original bolts supplied with the pro taper risers. I could not find a threaded bolt that was long enough and had enough threads in metric. I found a 7/16 bolt with the appropriate threads and that worked fine although I now have a 5/8 hex head on my Japanese bike. No real problems installing if you’re willing to do some head scratching, have a drill press and an angle grinder you should have too much issue. People that don’t have any of these tools, you will at the minimum have to have the original handlebar bushings bolt hole enlarged to fit the new larger bolts. I see most people are using the smaller stock bolts. This is unacceptable in my opinion. You can do that and many people have, but the stock bolts are a sloppy fit. It’s just not right in my opinion.Ok, in the photo the two bolts pictured, the first is original and 10mm, the next is what’s supplied with the pro taper mounts and they are 12 mm (you already see the problem) and my final solution was to supply my own 7/16 inch which is approximately a hair over 11mm. Hopefully this makes sense to someone installing on a dr-650 on other bikes installation may be much easier.

Works for most people, UNLESS.....
Great product for upgrading your bars from 7/8" to 1 1/8".It needs to be said for people who don't understand what these are...... These. are. adapters. They don't fit whatever bar size you happen to have. It's "universal" because it can work with any top clamp from any make/model that has built in bar mounts for a 7/8" set of handlebars. If you want risers, this isn't for you. If you want a slight rise while upgrading from 7/8 to 1 1/8 bars then this IS for you.UNLESS, you are one of the few people who want to do this on a DR650 or a CRF 150RB.... then in the case of the DR, you'll need to use the stock bolts to mount the adapter to the existing bar mounts and in the case of the 150R, you'll need to chop the bolts.I've asked ProTaper if they offer a shorter set of mounting bolts. Will see what they come back with.

Works on Suzuki Vstrom 1000
I needed these mounts in order to adapt the ProTaper 1.125" Evo bars onto my 2018 Vstrom 1000. The factory mounts are for 7/8 inch bars.If you're in my shoes, you have 2 simple options: Buy the OEM Vstrom XT mounts (expensive) or buy the ProTaper 1.125" mounts and adapt them to the bike. You will need to reuse your existing bolts that attach the mounts to the top steering yoke/brace. The ProTaper bolts are too thick to slide through.Been riding on and offroad with this setup and so far so good.

Doesn’t fit Honda 400ex
They don’t fit quads, I recommend a smaller bolt option then it would fit, other then that good product

Fit perfect and look amazing!
Cant beat pro taper. The mounts are strong sturdy and reliable. The bar fit perfect. Wouldn't choose any other mount. Love it. However if you are wanting to do what I did. The bolts that come are to long to be put through the top yoke so i just used some 10mm bolts and ground down one edge then rounded off the other corners. Turned my 07 gsxr1000 into a different bike. Comfortable as ever.
