Are you kitten me?
The good part is this comic stays true to the original with the personalities of the Pussycats, the bad part is that this comic stays true to the original with the personalities of the Pussycats. I really thought that this could change around. No more "airhead blonde" routine, and have it be like the newest Jem comic with it being a bit more girl power and a good story line instead of trying to keep it original and yet still with the times. It turned into a disappointment for me because the blonde moments were a LOT and became tiresome after a while. Some of the scenes were a little far out there (quad race with a magically appearing pink quad made from speakers that a biker gang just happened to quickly throw together..uh huh....). I felt like there was just so much potential with this and yet it fell flat. The artwork is good, but the content is lacking.

Stays true to the original characters
I absolutely loved this book! My favorite character is the blonde Melody, she is the comic relief of the story. I love how this stays true to the original characters but makes them relevant to today. I've grown tired of the Superhero books this was just what I was looking for just a fun book to read. I hope to see more of the Pussycats in the future.

Something for old and new fans
I've always been a fan of Josie and the Pussycats. This does the series a lot of justice. The art is wonderful. Nice vibrant colors that reflect the tone of the book. The humor is excellent. I laughed out loud a couple of times. One thing that surprised me was the character development given to our leads. I wasn't really expecting it and it was nice to see Josie be introspective about her blind ambition.Four out of five stars because it's above average but it's not a game changer. You won't be disappointed.

Really enjoyed this new retelling of the old classic comic and cartoon series of the 70's. From the stand out cover and art and story, well printed and presented. Worth a look if for reference on Josie and the Pussycats.

Not a great comic.. the writing is lacking and the art is nothing to write home about.
