Great beds!
Over the years I have bought 4 of these, along with two of the armored crate pads. I have had better luck with this brand over all of the other dog beds that Ive tried. They have help up well over the years. They are kind of hard to take apart, and put back together, but I like that they are able to be cleaned. Overall a fantastic dog bed!

Best dog bed I have ever purchased
Extremely sturdy and comfortable. My dog loves it so I do too. Worth every penny.

Tough and the dogs fight over them
These dog beds are tough and our dogs love them. We have a one year old lab and she sleeps in the bed every night since I bought this new, larger one. We had the large bed and she didn’t sleep in it. I bought the XLarge bed and sleeps in it every night. We now have 3 of these beds. They are great.

Worth the money!
I finally got this K-9 Ballistics bed because my dogs are getting older and need some cushioning, but I'm redecorating my living room and the "dog chair " will have to go. I got a large for my two redbone coonhounds. They can both fit in it, but usually Amber sprawls out and Minnie will lie on the K9 Ballistics crate pads, which have also been great. Very well-cushioned, which I thought they would need as they grow older. I have had several crate pads and the Cujo cot, as well as the original bed, and my coonhounds have never torn or destroyed any of them. When people on Facebook complain about their dog ripping their bed to shreds and show pictures of stuffing everywhere, I always recommend K9 Ballistics! The fabric washes well and doesn't hold odors. They are a bit pricey, but they last forever. Consider it an investment; it may cost as much as 20 cheap beds, but it lasts longer and you don't have to clean up the mess or worry about a bowel obstruction from eating fiberfill.

Satisfied
I have the smaller trefoil cover that I love; the dog hair slides right off. This bed is easier to clean than a standard cloth dog bed given it's nylon, but some dog hair still clings to it. My senior dog likes the bolster. Got a workout getting it put together; not much 'give' room. Overall satisfied, though. Pleased with the brand.

The small really is small
Several years ago I purchased a K9 Ballistics bed like this in size medium. I still have it and it is a great bed. But was a bit large for my Boston Terriers (2 can easily fit). One of my Bostons had taken to chewing up the regular beds so I purchased a second indestructible K9 bed in size small. It was way small, I sent it back and ordered the medium. What I really need is a small-medium but the beds are great.

Quality and Comfort
My greyhound is not a chewer but she is a serious bed digger! After destroying 2 regular orthopedic beds I needed something that could stand up to her digging as well as offering real support. I was hesitant to spend this much without seeing the product but I am so glad I did. It’s been a couple of months now and it still looks brand new. Very well made and supportive and comfy for her! I love that the washable covers are made to keep the mattress clean. I will say it’s a very snug fit so getting the cover on (especially the XL) is an undertaking but beyond that I couldn’t ask for a better bed.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT After Such High Hopes for this Much Hyped Bed.
The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes for this bed considering its price and videos posted online of it withstanding abuse from huge dogs going to town with it. My sister in law had showed videos of this bed being beaten up by large dogs and my friend read all the glowing reviews on their site. I was very excited to get a good quality bed after buying half a dozen beds at my local warehouse club which all had inferior bottoms that were prone to my dog ripping it up after digging at it. I was eager to get it setup right away and give it to my dog, but I ended up wrestling with it for awhile to stuff it. Be warned it's quite an exercise stuffing the larger beds into its cover. Its' nothing like the small sized bed they show in their video tutorial of how to stuff their beds. The good news is you will break a sweat squatting, climbing on top of the bed, crawling, standing up, wrestling, tugging, and sitting back down you can probably count it as your exercise for the day. After 30 minutes it still wasn't sitting inside quite right enough for me to zip the cover back up, but I was pooped and left it for awhile. When I came back to it at night the ortho foam pad miraculously seemed to settle inside the cover and I managed to zip up the cover. You will still need to pull a bit to velcro it together nicely. Strong hands would be helpful but unfortunately I am a 30 something female and putting this bed together did blister my hands. Stuffing the bolster part was a breeze and took very little time. I did notice that the cover for the foam pad was a nicer material than the cover holding in the bolster. The cover holding together the bolster stuffing is made of that horrible "paper" fabric that used to be in supermarket reusable bags years ago that ripped easily before they sold us much sturdier plastic reusable bags. I thought oh well, the cover for this bed is supposed to be phenomenal and chew resistant; I doubt the cheap stuffing cover will be a problem since my dog won't be able to get at it. The bed looked fantastic and I did lay in it to give it a test go. Boy was it comfortable! The orthopedic bed was nice and firm, supportive and soft at the same time. I couldn't wait to give it to my dog. She was super excited about her new bed and dug a little and sniffed out every inch of that bed before settling down with her raw hide on it. So far so good!Beds should resist a little digging in my opinion. My late older dog always dug at his bed before he laid in it and I had his beds for over a decade. Unfortunately the problem I'm finding with the newer beds I've been picking up at Costco and Sam's Club is that they have a really inferior bottom that rips easily. I've seen my dog dig and manage to easily get a hole on the bottom of her beds. Once she spots the stuffing the bed is done for. All of my old dog's bed had tougher fabric on the bottom and it was never a problem standing up to the daily digging. I was excited this chew proof bed had seemingly good material all around. I was sure it would survive a few seconds of digging and it did. However, I left her for alone with her bed and unfortunately when I came back after roughly 10 minutes I saw she had chewed through the "chew resistant" cover and managed to pull out and rip off some of the cheap bolster stuffing cover inside to pieces. My heart sank considering this was a $200 bed with claims of being chew resistant.I'm super disappointed about the hole in this pricey bed. As I'm writing this review my dog is chilling on her bed I know she loves it. But that hole will be a problem and I'm sure I'll come home to find stuffing all over the place another time there's no way I can keep this bed.UPDATE AS OF 02/15/18: I had returned this bed because of its failures to live up to claims. I paid $212.36 including tax for this $198 bed. However the seller only refunded $159.27! I'm contacting Amazon and then my credit card company to resolve this. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SELLER! I am expected to pay $53.09 for nothing? The bed claimed to be chew proof and didn't live up to its claims. I also happened to buy a Quilted Fleece Crate pad for my dog at the same time I purchased this ballistics bed for $15 at Chewy and guess what? That inexpensive crate pad is still fully intact! She has not ripped it or chewed through any part of it despite digging at it and picking it up and throwing it around with her mouth daily! Yet the glorified $200 K9 ballistics bed with false claims of being chew proof became damaged immediately and the company is further defrauding me by not providing me with a proper refund. If I could find that item with a nice orthopedic foam stuffing for my dog I would be ecstatic. I can't say this enough. ***STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISAPPOINTING PRODUCT AND THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!***I'm going to try the Friends Forever Bed next and try its cover first before buying the $160 bed. No one in their right mind would spend hundreds for something that doesn't perform and stand to be cheated of a proper refund. I'm not going through that again. The pile of $30-$50 beds I have from Costco/Sam's Club is a lesson learned, but no one should have to put up with being duped into paying 4-6x more for a bed that makes attractive promises to trick you into handing over you money with false claims that fails to deliver. I've seen many recommendations for the Friends Forever Suede bed on Amazon, but I am not sure if the bottom has the horrible fabric that tears quickly or not. I'm willing to eat the $40 if it doesn't hold up. Plus it only claims to be tear resistant not chew resistant so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'm sure the "suede" material should be fine, but I'm worried about the bottom and fear it may be the same stuff on all of the beds found at Costco and Sam's Club with the slip resistant bottom put on a really cheap piece of fabric that easily tears. My late dog's bed had a fleece top and a velvet/microfiber bottom and suede beds and he had them for over a decade (and that dog chewed my sofa at one point in his life). Wish they still made things the way they used to. Both my late dog and my current dog are the same high energy breed and given the proper material they don't rip apart their bed. The Fleece Mat I found on Chewy is great but I really want a thick orthopedic bed for my puppy to protect her joints for a lifetime (speaking of the devil my puppy is chewing at the fleece mat as I'm updating this review. She stopped as soon as I tried to take a picture to share). There's not enough padding in a crate mat unfortunately but it's proof that proper materials can withstand my dog's playful antics. The proper bed made with proper material can last!UPDATE AS OF 02/19/18: The seller responded to my inquiry and claims to have a 75% refund policy lol. Their return policy states to refer to Amazon's return guideline so be prepared to be angry if you need to return this overpriced junk. Do yourself a favor, avoid a headache and wasted time fighting for your money back, and just steer clear!I also managed to get a video of my dog "abusing" the fleece mat which is still completely intact for anyone interested. She digs, chews, and "abuses" it daily with her puppy play and this simple mat is still perfectly fine. I wasn't around to see her chew into the overpriced "Chew Proof" ballistics bed but it's most likely the same thing. The $15 mat is still fine after a month while the $200 Chew Proof bed failed after my dog had 10 minutes of unsupervised time with it as soon as I gave her the bed.
