Great Value
Good product! Works as it should by being a stand for my bass guitar. It is a nice, clean, and quality product for the price you're paying. A good value. This stand is foldable, but is very sturdy and stable when used properly.I lke that the height is adjustable, as my electric bass is long and it adjusts to fit the guitar perfectly. Some stands at this price point do not have a rubber neck keeper like this one does. That's a nice touch.

This guitar stand was super easy to asemble and works great. It's stable and also adjustable. Exactly what I expected for a basic guitar stand.

I own several of these inexpensive stands and all work perfectly...but THIS one had a defect!
I own several of these inexpensive stands and they all work perfectly as described. Except THIS one, when it arrived in what appeared to be "perfect" condition, yet couldn't be assembled! Here's why: On the unit I received, I discovered that the threads inside the boss where the height setting knob is supposed to screw into the bottom (outer) tube weren't fully cut all the way from the outside of the tube all the way through to the inside of the large tube. Thus, when I tried to assemble the unit, the threaded bolt that protrudes from the adjustment knob would not penetrate all the way through the outer tube sufficiently so as to press into the inner tube (the one with the U-shaped rest for the neck of the guitar). So, there was no way to actually assemble the stand so the two tubes could be locked together, as designed...so it could function and be used. Being a handy guy with plenty of tools, I quickly figured out what the issue was....and then measured the threads on the adjustment bolt, got out my Tap & Die set, found the proper size Tap, and used it to finish the job that didn't get done at the factory. In other words, I finished cutting threads so the hole in the boss was tapped all the way through to the the inside of the outer tube. With the threads cut all the way through to the inside of the outer tube, I was ready to assemble the unit as designed....so, when I tried to install the adjustment knob it threaded all the way in, and did make solid contact with the inner tube, allowing for proper assembly of the unit! If I hadn't had the skills, knowledge and tools to easily fix this manufacturing defect, the unit would have been totally unusable and would have been returned.

Basic, good quality stand.
I just left a bad review for a different stand. This is the one I bought to replace it, and I'm happy with it. It's tall enough and has a wide enough base that a tall, heavy, Fender Precision Bass doesn't feel top-heavy on it. It also has fewer folding parts than other stands. To me that's just less useless clever crap to malfunction. Look, a stand is a pretty basic item of hardware--I don't need bells and whistles--but it does keep my cherished instruments from falling on the floor, so it does matter that it's robust. To that end, this is a good quality stand, and a very good value.

It may arrive bent and missing parts
The first stand was bent and missing the bottom padded support. Also the screw that secures the upper neck support was missing. Amazon gave me a refund without requiring I return the stand. I then ordered another and it was all thereThe lower body padded support inserts into a plastic part that is installed upside down at the factory. It's easy to fix however and all you do is insert the padded lower piece upside down and rotate it 180°. Problem solved.Overall I am happy with my purchase but I gave three stars because of the bad experience ordering the first stand. When I ordered the replacement stand the price had dropped and I saved a couple dollars. The stand arrives in a plastic bag with no instructions.
