This balm is amazing and I’ll be devastated if they stop making it. I have a medical condition that makes my lips extremely dry and chapped/peeling. I have tried sooooo many different lip products that end up being ok to no good. But this is my life savor and holy grail. It is very no frills but I actually appreciate it has no scent or flavor. The packaging could not be more boring haha. BUT it works so better than any pretty froofy frill product that does nothing. Somehow it is long lasting to where if I’m consistent, I really only apply it once in the morning and once before bed. It stays on for quite awhile but even if I don’t feel it physically still on my lips anymore, my lips are fine throughout the day and I haven’t had them peel in weeks. When I don’t use it consistently, I can tell. But when my lips are bad, one night with this on and they are repaired pretty well. Also wears well over lipstick. Great product and worth the price!!

Wow! I am impressed.I have an auto immune disorder and if I am not careful with lip products-balms, gloss, lipstick, exfoliators, moisturizers, toothpaste and so on, I get exfoliative cheilitis. That means my lips swell, turn bright red and peel in sheets. Anything with cinnamon or peppermint in it will give me ugly, swollen, peeling lips for several weeks. My lips tend to be dry at the best of times so I have been experimenting with 'safe' balms and for the past year have been using Blistex Moisture Revitalizer. I keep a tube in my desk at work, a tube by my bedside, a tube in my makeup bag, one in my purse-well, you get the picture. It's worked for me so far but it does require frequent reapplication and while it's protective, I don't really feel that it's particularly long term moisturizing. If I don't use it for 2 days running, I am back to square one of very dry lips.I recently read about this URIAGE product on a site that offers advice to exfoliative cheilitis sufferers. A lot of readers gave it high marks so I decided to try it and found it on Amazon. When it arrived, I applied a modest amount right before bed, which is what I normally do with the Blistex. It has no taste or scent-both things a plus for me. It was not heavy or oily; rather it was just like a light mositurizer.When I woke up the next day, surprisingly I could still feel it on my lips. Not in a greasy, occlusive Vaseline type way; more in a protective way-if that makes sense. I brushed my teeth and showered and did not reapply as my lips still felt soft and supple. By the end of the day, after eating and drinking, I still did not feel a need to reapply as my lips still looked and felt comfortable and moisturized. I had no dry skin showing at all and the normal dry, vertical lines I have in my always slightly dehydrated lips were not present.I am going to continue experimenting with using this only at bedtime and see how I fare for the next 2 weeks. I am pleased and impressed for now!

I recently was having an issue with cracking and peeling lips. My normal balms and overnight treatment were not improving it. I came to Amazon seeking savior. I bought this based on reviews. When I got it, I was actually a little disappointed looking at the ingredients. I lean to natural ingredients for lip products, even though they got me to this point.Well I was wrong. First morning, problem was almost fixed. By day 2, the cracks were completely healed. Every day since, my lips are notably more conditioned and never have the exfoliation issues I always did.I’m pretty impressed. This winter may be a lot easier to deal with thanks to this.
