I tried this one and gatsby extreme mat rubber wax. This one is lighter and thinner so I didn’t think it would hold. I was so wrong. A take about a dime size, rub in my hands and it gets sticky. I then gently run through my dried hair and style by pulling and plucking hair and placing where I want it. It held all day without feeling sticky or weighing my hair down. I can’t believe I finally found “the one.” The extreme mat is ok too, but this one is better for short hair. Review: My secret - I started using this while living in China and continue to use it after being back in the US for 10+ years. Everyone who uses it absolutely loves it.
