Q: Will this fit a 2016 Ford Escape

Probably not. It did not work for my 2016 Edge

This is Ford, but as far as you know both brands are using same type of keys.

It worked perfect on my 2019 but I’m not sure on a 2014

Q: What do you need to program besides two keys?

Check YouTube for videos. With my 2017 Escape, if you had two existing key FOBs, there is a process to program extra Key Fobs, and I did do it successfully by myself. If you have only one or none, then you need to go to the dealer.
