of course you have to drill a hole first for the screw to go through, but it made a nice clean hole in my stainless steel tank that I thought was going to give me some trouble.

It is very good and makes perfect holes

Purchased to make a tap hole in a steel sink. Tried a couple of hole saws and they wouldn't touch it, took a gamble on this and it worked a treat. No idea how long it will last, but I only needed to make one hole so all good.

Cut my first hole in 2mm thick mild steel and it was perfect. I was very pleased. However the second hole was a disaster as the bolt thread was stripped bare by the time the hole was only 3/4 cut. I was unable to finish the hole and had to acquire a different hole cutter to finish the job.I sent the item back and have been refunded.I bought a similar cutter but only 16mm, and used this to cut several holes in the same sheet steel as the 22mm holes and had no problems.

Easy to use and cut out a clean hole in the stainless steel sink

Only used this once, so far, and a real easy punch through 2mm mild steel. I prefer to use a punch instead of large diameter drilling in thinner metals.

Only had one hole to do, cutter worked a treat.
