They fit the bill of above the knee shorts. So I splurged and ordered 2 blacks' and 1 midnight blue.The second I put them on I knew I found the perfect pair of shorts. They are above the knee. Have a bit of stretch so they are perfectly comfortable. They are light but the fabric feels like it will last. And they look good.Thank you Amazon I have found my essential shorts. Don't you dare discontinue this item.P.S. I am a woman. I have worn all men's pants and shorts for at least 25 years. Men's pants just plain ole pants, sturdy, comfortable and never go out of style.Amazon: You should consider adding feminine colors and marketing them for women. They would also love them.

They’re a totally okay pair of shorts.Sometimes you buy something that’s of high quality, it’s been touched and worked on, it’s been thought out and someone out there had an idea of how they wanted the user to feel as a result of owning their product.This isn’t that. It’s the paper plate of shorts. It’s functional, it fully gets the job done, but you don’t have any feelings about the paper plate of shorts. I won’t care when it inevitably rips, or I stain it with some bbq sauce. It’ll just become landfill like all the other paper plates.Would I recommend these shorts to someone else? Sure. Paper plates are useful. Need a pair of shorts for super cheap and real quick? Sure get ‘em.Are you on a very tight budget, but still want to have decent clothes? Totally, these are the shorts for you.Overall: these are a pair of shorts, made somewhere out of materials. They have a color and the parent company is Amazon. Oh, and they are short.

I was looking for a Levis 511 short that has a finished hem (no luck) and came across these. I like them and bought 3 pairs. They fit well - not quite as slim as a 511 but very close, are made well and the 99/1 cotton elastic material has good stretch and recovery. They loosen up just slightly, but don't bag or sag in the seat and thighs.Only negative is that sizing is slightly inconsistent, so you may need to try a few pairs for a good fit. if you are on the heavy side for your waist size the darker colors may feel a bit more snug than lighter colors. Those who are comfortably within their waist size may not notice. Size down for slim, and up for a regular fit.After 6 months have noticed the navy and gray will fade very quickly in the sunlight - to the point they look a bit too casual or trashy for my taste. Lighter colours not noticeable.
