I have tried many phone gadgets and nothing has worked. One of the problems is the placement- The sun heats up my phone. I have an older car (2007 Toyota corolla) with small air vents and I was happy to find this fits perfectly into the small air vent on the left of the steering wheel and stays there. Not only does the phone have the benefit of the AC but it's parly shaded - it's sturdy - stays in the vent - quality materials and packaged professionally - holds the phone securely.

I have used the one in my vehicle long enough to give some useful feedback.-I like this "updated" version because I think the design puts less stress on the vent blades and provides more stability for the phone.-Easy to install (5-7 min).-Easily moved between vehicles. Good for business travel when you are renting cars.-It will take more time to prove out but based on 30 days of use I don't think this mount will damage the vent blades.-There is some "vibration" (movement) of the phone during road travel. It is not enough to bother me and still quite "readable" but don't think it will be as stable as laying your phone on a table...-UPDATE - When installing the mount make sure you extend the bottom brace all the way down (see picture with yellow circle). This improves the stabilIty of your phone while driving. I am not sure how I missed this when I first installed the mount but I did...-It does block the airflow where the phone sits in front of the vent (likely obvious...).-Once installed I have not had any problems with the mount moving, make sure your connections are tight. I saw some feedback about this being a problem but did not experience it.-The phone locking mechanism works well. I have noticed that it will occasionally not release all the way but all you have to do it push the release button.Overall I am satisfied with this purchase and would make it again (the best test of satisfaction) and think you will be as well.

works good but not usable in all vents. It can be tricky to adjust for use in some trucks and SUV vents.

I bought this because my Son had one in his car and it works great and hold very secure. Very easy to set up. It snaps on tight and easy to release. Best one yet that I have tried. I love it a lot.

Doesn’t fall off. Easy to place and remove phone.

Seems like a good product however it does not fit or work well with my fifth generation Honda Odyssey van this basically was a waste of time & money

Terrible Design and Engineering for the product.It has to be screwed in very tightly in order for my phone to not rattle around while I’m driving. Because it has to be screwed in so tightly, It ends up putting a lot of pressure on the plastic vent flaps. I tried twice on the same vent, and it snapped two of my Vent flaps. It broke my vent flaps within minutes of my getting the product in the mail. I followed the instructions to a T, and it still broke my vents. Terrible quality and design. I will definitely be trying to get a refund.
