I use this adapter to mount a laser pointer to the camera for casual astrophotography. It is solidly made and can be used to mount anything with a Synta/Vixen bar. It is super useful, but nobody else makes one. I give 6 stars to this item and its manufacturer.

This YUEOCT, worked very well in holding the sun finder scope that helped in thealignment of the telephoto lens with the sun and keeping the sun in the middle of thefield of view. Works very well!

Used on small refractor to replace spotting scope.

dont waste your time on these, useless for their intended purpose. they are not square multiple samples all point in different variations.

I am able to mount my ASIair mini to the camera for guiding.

Nicely made and machined. Quality components. Only negative is male hot shoe attachment not totally secure after tightening making an attached Finder scope slightly wobbly. Not great to keep Finder scope aligned to DSLR camera.

If you need perfect stability this is not for you. It’s well made but the connection point that mounts to the camera is not perfect so it moves. If you need it for a flash or something it would probably be fine but if you need it for guided telescopes then this is not for you.
