I ordered two of amber colored jars. So far I have only used the one but will be using the other one soon as a vase for flowers. The jars are so pretty! I used my jar to store my coffee which fits perfectly on my counter and looks great too. I've recently started storing my fruits and veggies in mason jars ( in the fridge) since they seem to last longer this way. I will be ordering more of these in the future.

The jars are great. I don't care that they don't have lids.My problem is with the packaging. I've ordered 2 of these twice. The first order was packed well with no issues. The second order had no cushioning at all and I could hear the jars clinking together before even opening the box. They were not damaged but it bothered me that they couldn't of even placed some crumpled up paper in between the jars. Please...

I like Ball jars for storing herbs, already a fan of the clear ones, cheap and dependable. The amber looks more sophisticated and also blocks light so much better. With the airtight wood lid it’s the best stash jar I’ve used. They are cheap in bulk, good for gifts. I have miron “black” jars too but I like this better!

Love the amber Ball mason jar! I use it to store fresh yeast in the freezer. Would buy more of these, if needed.

To the people who have commented on the lack of lid, those are available (cheaply) at just about any place that sells jars for canning. Amazon, Walmart, grocery store, etc. These amber jars aren't being made at the moment, so they're a bit hard to find, but they're great for storing anything that's a bit light sensitive. This one arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

These jars are perfect for my tinctures and long term storage for dry and wet products. Wish I had cases of them!

It is not easy to find the Amber Ball jars without buying six or more, and I needed one. I also (fortunately) had an extra lid (this doesn't come with one). A bit pricey (for one) but I just would not use six or more. required to get a better price. The third-party seller got the order out promptly and does give your a two-week window for shipping, but it will take nearly all of that so patience is required. They used DHL with final delivery by the very prompt/efficient USPS. Unfortunately, DHL habitually sits on packages for a week or more before beginning transport and that happened here. I was forewarned so not a complaint, but you do need to expect that to be the case. Tracking shipment progress daily will only drive you crazy. Still, it arrived in good shape and fills my need.
