Useful for writing on slate cheeseboard
I bought this as it is much better than ordinary chalk for writing the names of the cheeses on my cheeseboard. I bought three pencils (two for friends) and was pleased to see that postage (which was extra) was only charged for one.

Rubbish chalk
I bought this item for my blackboard and it does not work, I'm really disappointed as I paid a lot of postage for such a small item too.

Used to write names on mini blackboard place names. Worked very well. Would like more colours.

Doesn't work
I got this to use on a blackboard but it doesn't write on it at all. I've since tried it on various types of blackboard (sealed, painted, plastic) but no luck. The only surface on which I could get this to work was white paper, so totally unfit for my purposes. As another reviewer said, I am not sure that this is chalk, it is more of a pastel. If you want to be able to write fairly finely on a blackboard, buy a liquid chalk pen.

Not as described
It is not a chalk pencil at all but a pastel art pencil not suitable for textile use. I was disappointed with the product.
