I bought these for my grandson who has an absolute hatred of traditional dress pants. He does not like the feel of the cotton ones (which tend to be stiff) and he also does not like a waistband without a little 'give'. Well, these pants are exactly what he needed! He love the feel of them, which is quite soft, and there is elastic in the back of the waistband which provides the 'give'. I would highly recommend this pants.
