My son is in boxing and wears this hat and it works! I don't know how he does it but he can stay focused and work the ball with precise punches. He really loves the hat and the work out he gets with it.

Not meant for children
We purchased this item for our 9 year old nephew - the string is too long. Hopefully he'll use it anyway. The adults had fun playing with it. I wish it was less expensive.

Add your own modifications.
Good design, however, the string could be better quality. It does sting a little to the face when using. The dangling hook-to-hat is ok but I took the hook off to spot the unnecessary bouncing. I may just buy my own elastic cord.

Seemed great at first, that is until I used it. The loop that the ball attaches to on the hat tore off the 2nd time using it rendering it useless.

Look somewhere else.
This is a gimmick. Not worth the $20 bucks. The cord attached was comically long. Even when I cut the length and reattached the tennis ball is too heavy and too hard to react to punching it they way you may have seen in product videos or other products.

Really happy about this purchase. This is the highest quality fight ball on the market at the moment. Great work out, I recommend watching Lomachenko fight ball workout videos for inspiration.

Great reaction and functionality. Not very durable.
The reflexive reaction of the string is great. But the tennis ball didn't last more than 3 months, and tore open. Not sure if that's unique to tennis balls, or if the one I ordered was defective.
