Great tablet, but so far...one issue
I love the tablet, but there is at least one thing that I would change. I haven't had it that long, so there could be more things later. The one issue right now, though, is the location of the charging port. I think it would be better if the port was on the top, instead of the bottom. The charging cords don't really last that long, but the way I need to use my tablet, having it on the bottom, is much harder on the cord. I can't hold it comfortably if it is in landscape. I can only hold it comfortably in portrait. If I am laying down, the cord is pressing against my chest, and it is difficult to keep it from bending. That means that I will have the expense of replacing charging cords more often.I want to add that it SERIOUSLY pisses me off that it doesn't AUTOMATICALLY put things on the SD card for storage. I am SERIOUSLY considering replacing this tablet with a different brand because of this failure.

great product
this is a replacement for a tablet that was purchased elsewhere, was a 32 bit with problems. This is a 64 bit and so far it is great, my wife loves it, arrived on time!

Pleased with tablet, just replaced very old asus. Just use on bedside table in bedroom to watch stuff. I have a samsung a7 and also pleased.

NOT UP TO SAMSUNG TABLET QUALITY
This was a regrettable purchase. As others have noted, the most significant deficit with this SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A8 tablet is the screen response time which is very, very slow, to the point of being frequently unresponsive. The Display is OK if somewhat dim and the weak performance of the tablet makes you understand why it is priced low compared to both other Samsung models and other tablet competitors. It is more than just underwhelming. For me, it was a huge step down from my Samsung Galaxy S5e. After giving it a reasonable chance, I couldn't send it back fast enough.
