This item does not work at all. Thinking it was a fluke I asked for the replacement. The replacement is the same, completely not functional. Tried on 3 different devices, and it won’t even pass the charger power to any of them. These are totally junk. One from Walmart works just fine on all 3 devices.

I had the more expensive one the belkin brand name and never had a issue all I did was plug it in and it worked no extra activity needed. I just got this one and was very excited but than I plugged it in and it doesn’t want to keep the video on the screen/tv and it doesn’t have any sound at all just silent so I need to send this back for refund and I guess we will have to get the belkin brand named one which is 45$ at Walmart I was just hoping the cheaper one would actually work so I guess you get what you pay for it right. If there is anything you can do to make it easier on us to replace please don’t hesitate to help and do what is right. I’m not knocking you guys I understand it’s a cheaper one so I’m not mad just disappointed is all I was really hoping there was a cheaper price for the same product because apple is outrageous on prices with everything they sell.

Cons: I *had* to use the USB connector to get an output stream. I have a genuine Apple one and that's optional, which is nice in some quick situations Didn't work in, for example, a 2017 Pacifica. The genuine Apple one worked great. I wanted a second adapter so each screen in the Pacifica could be taken advantage of. I'll spend the extra few bucks on another genuine Apple one. Still glad I tried this out. Maybe it will for your scenario.

Works with iPhone XR iOS 15.5. Phone sees it as an AirPlay target, and the car's (Sienna 2022) rear entertainment system mirrors the screen exactly and responsively. After 2 weeks, sound suddenly stopped working. Then it worked again an hour later. Maybe it was because the car needed something restarted?

Worked as advertised

I purchased this to play movies from my phone to a projector for the family to be able to watch. I have tried a projector, TV and a computer monitor. NONE OF THEM WORK. Once you turn the movie off it is a duplicate of what is on my iPad, but will not work for what I needed. Total waste of money!
