This is an excellent interesting book about the Baltimore Orioles baseball team and the city of Baltimore. I read this book for my personal pleasure and for my personal knowledge. I liked this book because I learned some new information that I did not know before reading this book. Some of the interesting information that is mentioned by the author of this book in this book include the following information: The Baltimore Orioles franchise holds three World Series championships, which they won in 1966, 1970, and 1983. They have won seven American League pennants, nine Eastern Division titles, and three wild card berths. Peter Angelos is the principal owner of the Baltimore Orioles. He is a lawyer as well as a racehorse owner and breeder. Baltimore has more statues and monuments than any other city in the United States. The 40 story Legg Mason building in Baltimore is the tallest building in Baltimore. I saw the Legg Mason building myself personally when I enjoyed my visit to Baltimore. It is at the address of 100 Light St. in Baltimore, MD. The Home Office Headquarters of the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Insurance Company (USF&G) was in that building before Legg Mason went in that building. My father was a USF&G Insurance Agent for many years and I saw the USF&G paperwork mentioning the 100 Light St. address. When I was in Baltimore myself, I wanted to see what the building looked like first-hand personally.

This book has great trivia for the baseball fan. Something familiar or new with each turn of the page.

My father is in his 80's. We purchased the book to help exercise his memory since he is a life-long Oriole fan. He still remembers a lot of the early Baltimore players from when he used to attend games as a kid.
