Fantastic 4-in-1 product
I have used this for about 2 months and have really put it through its paces. I've used every tool and configuration at this point. I do not think you can beat this product on versatility and cost.HEDGE TRIMMERThe hedge trimmer works right out of the box and is fairly lightweight. It only struggles to cut through slightly thicker branches. I have trimmed all of my bushes and trees with it - a variety of leafy bushes, juniper bushes, rhododendron and japanese maple. Simple, light, works great.CHAINSAWI used this recently to cut down several juniper bushes in short order. Make sure to get bar/chain oil for it and keep it tightened. On first use, the chain gradually got looser and looser. It did fall off the bar once, but did not cause any injury. I would caution you to pause every now and then and tighten the chain. It's very easy to assemble/disassemble - no complicated parts.POLE ATTACHMENTYou can extend this pretty far and cut perhaps 12'-15' trees and bushes from the ground. Of course it gets a bit heavy to lift for long periods if you have it fully extended. The included shoulder strap makes holding it and supporting the weight easier, though.

Outstanding product. Help with replacement parts?
I have had this piece of equipment since 2017 and it has been a great product to have. Unfortunately the hedge trimmer portion of the equipment has stopped working. I tried emailing the seller to see about getting a replacement hedge trimmer portion of the product. I don't think the email address is a good email address anymore. If someone sees this and can point me in the direction of contacting someone from this seller that would be extremely helpful. Help?

the pole is 6 feet long.
i needed to trim off some branches that were high enough to need a pole saw and thick enough to make the mere thought of using the manual pole saw make my arms tired; enter the electric pole saw, which in this particular case comes with a hedge trimmer, too; cool. it is corded, not battery-operated, which would be annoying if I had many cuts to make, but I didn't, and I wasn't ready to spend the time researching which manufacturer's battery ecosystem is best. so, corded it is.the good: the chain-saw is fairly easy to use, even for a novice; not too heavy at all, even at the end of the pole (thanks to the handy over-the-shoulder strap), looks fairly easy to maintain, and because of its 10" bar will cut through thicker branches and trees than the 8" (though the 8" saws are lighter). switching from pole-saw mode to saw mode is so easy that anyone with opposable thumbs should be able to do it and was really the main selling point for me -- once i cut the branches down, i didn't want to have to cut them into manageable chunks from 8 feet away, I wanted to be able to take the saw off the pole.the things i wish someone had told me before i bought it:1. the pole is 6 feet long; they advertise the pole-saw's maximum extension as 8 feet, but this must be a measurement from tip of the saw to the back end of the trigger end, which makes it technically true (and explains how the hedge trimmer can be longer at 8.8 feet), but not really. if you are expecting to cut things 8 feet away from your extended arms, you won't be able to, not without standing on something (which, if you think about it, is not the safest thing in the world to do). not a deal-breaker, but something i wish i had known ahead of time as I ended up needing a ladder for a couple of branches, which was not ideal, and for this i take off a star.2. you can use regular 30-weight motor oil instead of bar and chain oil (this is straight from the manual). It's not that bar and chain oil is expensive (it's not; it costs less than most motor oils when you buy it at your favorite store where they wear orange aprons), it's just that i don't need a quart of it, since the saw only takes a couple ounces of it and now that i'll use it so infrequently, the remainder of that quart will easily outlast not just the saw's usable life, but mine, as well.if i find any shrubs to trim, i'll update this review with thoughts on the shrub trimmer.

Great Set for the Homeowner
I bought this being a bit skeptical of the quality at the low price. However once I started using it I was pretty impressed with how well it works. You can tell it is not made for someone in the business who will use it hard day in and day out, but for the homeowner trimming hedges and tress it is perfect. It is very simple to switch the handle from tool to tool and add the extension when needed. The one thing (which I know can't be avoided) is when you have the trimmer extended out to the full length of the extension for a period of time it does get a little rough on the shoulders, but the handy strap makes it easy to relive the weight and take a break every couple minutes.

Great value and easy to use.
I hadn't trimmed any of my bushes for a few years. I still had my dad's hedge trimmers that he bought back in the 1960s. I really needed to give my overgrown shrubs and bushes a good haircut. These worked like a breeze. Some bushes had grown way above my head & I attached the pole & was able to trim them down with ease. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a lightweight hedge trimmer. Also I was very happy with the price. I haven't had a chance to use the chainsaw yet.

Broken Chain Saw
I would have given this package deal 4-5 stars easy as the hedge trimmer and pole work wonderfully. However the chainsaw arrived broken (it looked untouched and brand no by physical appearance and by the time I got around to purchasing the chain lube to use per the instructions only then did I become aware it had serious internal issues and the window to return/exchange had passed me over by a single day.... First bad Amazon experience I've ever had, frustrating.

Nice! Good Power. Mostly Easy to Use.
I got more power in this than I thought I would. Easy to use but it is heavy and a little unwieldy at length so could be a problem for smaller folks. Using without the extensions is easy. All I really need for my small house & land area. I considered Greenworks & other battery powered brands before I bought this unit and I was a little skeptical. But using it a few times, it's easy to use, strong enough, and all I need. No input on longevity yet. If it holds up it'll be one of my best buys.
