It’s a simple trash can with a tight lid which is perfect for a bathroom and keeping all the smells at bay. I’m just as confused as the other reviewers though on the extra trash bag holder. It’s just a piece of plastic that doesn’t attach anywhere. Why put my bags in there and toss that in the bottom of the can when I could just toss the bags in the bottom of the can. Are we all missing the purpose?

Great product! The 4 gallon size works very well in my bedroom as I like to snack a lot and typically throw my wrappers all over the place. Having something small in my bedroom is a total game changer. To be honest, for the price I wish it would be a bit wider or bigger since I've seen other 13 gallon motion trash cans for around the same price/about $10 more. Functionality-wise though, this trashcan has been great since setup was VERY easy and the motion sensitivity is very fast and responsive! From the moment my hand with trash moves towards the trashcan it would open up right away, so I would not have to wait for it to take its time to open up and it closes very quickly as well - preventing any odd smells from coming out. Overall it does the job as I have expected. Also, the blue light is a plus since it helps me see how much trash I have in the night (I'm quite the night owl).

Got this one to replace a 20? year old can that was auto open, but you always had to close manually. The detection on this can is great so far and I love that it also automatically closes after several seconds - no need to touch the lid at all! It takes 4x AA batteries (not included) so hopefully it will last a good long time without having to replace them. The size is just right for my bathroom and it keep the funky smells at bay with just the lid, though there is a little chamber inside for some activated charcoal or a stinkum. I don't use trash bags, just pop the lid off, dump into the big trash can, pop the lid on. So far, very happy with my purchase.

It is good trash bin for home use. In opinion $25 to $30 is good price point for such product.Pros:1. As described.2. Sensor works greate.3. Has spare trash bag holder :-)4. Overall easy to use.Consa/good to have:1. Adjust how long lid keeps open onece opened automatically.2. Body is made of plastic, worth mentionining it in description of the product.3. Make it easy open lid when battery dies, lever handle or somethign like that.

This is an absolutely perfect trash can to use next to my cat's litter box. It is the perfect size to hold a weeks worth of litter.Automatically opens so I can dump the scooped litter in there...once closed, dirty litter is out of sight and no smell.I had 2.5 gallon trash bags and they fit perfectly. I like this so much that I bought a second one for my downstairs litter box!Even has an LED light inside when opened. The only thing I can't figure out is how to use/attach the extra bag holder that was included that I have sitting on top in my last picture.
