I am a big man at 6'4" with big wrist and prefer waterproof watches. I have other good watches but this fit my wrist, worked perfectly, looks great and did not cost $2,000. So far it keeps good time, the bezel works and the chrono works. As big a watch as it is the band is big enough to support it without even feeling it on my wrist. First watch I have bought in 20 years that I loved. I now have two good watches, this one and a citizen dress watch powered by solar. I have tried sports watches over the years but never really liked them largely because the bands don't feel great. This one feels non existent. The date is a little hard to see along with the tiny second hand (the chrono second and minute hand are great) but I do have my smartphone for either time or date if it is that important. I am pleased which I never thought I would say about a watch again. Lance.

I will second the reviews here on Amazon that say this watch is even more beautiful "in person" than in the pictures, it really has to be seen up close to be appreciated! The rose-gold tone with the blue dial is a gorgeous color combination, and the gold highlights in the band are very classy. I will offer a caution in that the watch is large at 45mm in diameter, and heavy. I have a 7-3/4" wrist and it's about as large a watch as I'm comfortable with. If you have smaller wrists, this might be a bit too much in both size and weight. The date is at the 6-o'clock position and is not really all that small, but it is rather narrow and the numerals are tall and thin, making it a bit difficult to read quickly. However, I wear reading glasses and have no problem with the date, so this is not a negative for me. The only reason I have not rated the watch for accuracy or water resistance is because I only just received it and so have not had any time to test those features. Bulova makes a solid product, however, and I'm sure this watch will live up to their reputation! Highly recommended!

Absolutely stunning watch especially with the rose gold dial, chrono pushers, and band inlays. With a 7 inch wrist that I have, the 45mm case size isn't oversized and fits just right.

I haven't been much of a watch connoisseur over the years, although that is starting to change. Whereas I used to wear Fossil exclusively, and an Apple Watch now, I am starting to appreciate more classy, elegant timepiece expressions and will no doubt start exploring other artisans as time goes on. However, before I started down that journey I wanted to begin with a beautiful yet reasonably priced watched: enter this Bulova Marine Star. While the size and the overall "bling" factor took some getting used to, I think it's a rather tasteful dress watch that is elegant and a true standout. The Marine Star is about as expressive as I want my watch to be, especially since I don't want any piece of jewelry I wear to resemble the cheap junk peddled at mall kiosks. However, I think Bulova did a good job designing the watch to be noticed but in an appreciative manner, not in a repulsive manner. The watch itself has the feel of quality (band is made in China, timepiece made in Japan) and it fits well now that I took 3 links out. I'm happy with this watch, especially at the price I purchased it for.

Its very classy, looks really expensive. Its an excellent brand indeed.

I just received this lovely watch. When I tried to adjust the time, however, I realized that the time adjustment knob is stuck and bent. I cannot adjust the time. I will be returning this for a replacement. Hopefully the new one has no defects. UPDATE- I returned the first watch and ordered a replacement which arrived this evening. This time the crown isn’t bent but it sticks out. When I push it in it’s not going all the way in. In other words, it’s not sitting flush against the rim of the watch. I tried twice and was let down twice. It’s too bad because it’s a lovely watch otherwise. Replacement watch is the one in the brighter picture. UPDATE 2 - Right after I posted the update above I did some research and learned that this watch has a screw down crown which is why it was sticking out. How this works is that you have push in the crown. When it cannot go in any further, maintain the pressure on the crown and start screwing it in a forward direction; ie, away from you. I’m now happy with my purchase even though two links had some minor scuffs. Final note: The return process was too tiring through UPS and Amazon took a while to confirm receipt of the return. When shopping on Amazon it’s best to shop from a seller who allows returns via Kohl’s. The refund is quick and you even get $5.00 is Kohl’s cash.

Don’t wear watches at all often but I wear this one all the time. Really nice quality material and a quality build. Looks like it would be more expensive than it is and gets a lot of good comments from people

This is a beautiful watch. The colors are as pictured. It’s a little large for my wrist. A 42mm would be better for me but I liked it to much to return it. It’s a very heavy watch. The only problems are the date is so small you can’t really see it and the stopwatch hand is white where the other hands are gold with a bit of luminance on the end. It makes it a little hard to tell the time at a glance. I moved the chronograph hand to the bottom of the dial and it helps. Overall I am very happy with it.
