Pairs well with Rick Steves' much more readable guide. I'm using the Rough Guide to get more detail about the area Rick covers and look into areas that he does not cover.

Ok - I'm English, born here, living here. Bought one of these years ago because there's so much in this country and this is a go to book to find places not so obvious.Now I have family in America coming over. It's been over 40 years since her first visit and her husband has never visited, so I sent her a copy to get her excited about her holiday next year and plan where she wants to visit.Always find these books useful wherever I travel, and though it sounds strange buying one for England when I live here, I do find it useful when we're travelling around and exploring our lovely, interesting and quirky country.

This is a huge book with lettering so small, that I can't read it. It's so big, that nobody would take this on a trip. There are few trip agendas and too much information. What a mistake. I'd like to return it if could.
