This valve was a proper fit for my 2013 Nissan Altima. I had my mechanic install the valve when I had to replace my old worn out compressor. I didn't have any evidence that the old expansion valve was bad, but I had it replaced as a precaution in case any contamination got into the valve from the failed compressor. Now the system works like new and blows ice cold air.
