I’m a nurse so I have to be able to identify which key is which without standing around and shuffling my key ring. These were too cute to pass up. However, these monkeys didn’t fit the keys the hospital issued to me. Easy fix though, just boil them in water for like 10-15 seconds, and while their hot, slip your key in. The boiled rubber is a lot more maleable and it molds right to your key.

Believe the reviews on this one. I bought similar ones years ago (as another commenter said) and they were the perfect size. They were thicker and slipped right on my keys with no issues. I didn't have to pull and pry them.This isn't even an issue that they are not pliable enough, they simply DO NOT FIT. The hole is partially covered, making them not swing freely on the ring, and since they don't fit, the key doesn't work. Believe me when I tell you I used a lot of strength and wiggling, they are simply TOO SMALL.This was for a standard house key.

There are a ton of reviews saying these are too tight to fit over the key, and this is correct if you’re inserting the key the way most key caps are designed to fit. However, these monkeys have two slits, a smaller on the bottom and a larger one on the top. Insert the key into the cap through the slit at the top and you’ll have yourself an awesome set of keys that you can tell apart. I hope this helps someone out there.

It’s cute but little small

Like other reviewers have noted, these are very small. I specifically wanted one for my mail key, so it fit perfectly, but it certainly was not going to fit over any of my other keys. So if you ONLY want to put one on a small mail key, you will be fine. If any bigger, it's not going to work.

I purchased a set of monkey key caps about five years ago. That set was larger, flexible and sealed at the top, which fit well over my keys. I needed to replace them due to wear and tear.This set does not fit around my keys because they are very small and inflexible. The top of every key is uncovered. They are overpriced as well. I returned this set because they are unusable.My keys are on an adjustable screw ring. The holes would not align to put the keys back on the ring. If you are using the standard circle around key ring, you can forget even trying to use these.

I purchased these key covers for my regular house key - but they don't fit over the key. I will be returning.

Very cute, a bit hard to put on but fits good.
