Died less than a year of use
I really liked the product... worked well with MacBook. But less than a year of usage, it is now completely dead.Paid too much money to have something die within a year. The power supply is showing a green light so one can assume it is still functioning. But the docking station will no longer turn on

Not quite the expected result but found a workaround.
WAVLINK model # is WL-UMD502. I bought this for a triple HP 1920x1200 monitor setup being powered by a 3 year old Dell 7400 off the USB Type-C 3.1 Gen2 Connector. I got all 3 monitors to discover (2 HDMI, 1 DP) but the one off of the DP was only 800x600 and unacceptable. I pulled one of the HDMI off the docking station and plugged it straight into the computer and achieved the best of all worlds. All 3 monitors are allowing 1920x1200. Although the product is not exactly working as I expected, I was ecstatic with the workaround results. You do have to disable the laptop screen to get 3 external monitors. Also I extended the view across all 3, very cool. Maybe I could have figured out why the docking station didn't handle the DP monitor correctly and maybe not. It didn't matter to me as I have 3 perfectly performing monitors. The unit is smaller than I expected and the cord is a little short but you can extend it with additional cord if needed.

Flawless
I'm glad I bought this one.My MacBook is always connected on both display port with 4K monitors and the lid closed. No complaint at all, the product is flawless. For some reason it is sometime tricky to get both monitors working at same time, but it feels more like a Mac OS bug than anything else.

HDMI ISSUES?
Having issues with the DP to HDMI adapters as the computer is not finding the monitor when it is plugged into the dock with the adapters provided. However, when I use a Thunderbolt to HDMI dongle, there is no problem. If anyone has thoughts, that would be wonderful and will cause me to adjust my rating accordingly. Will, mostly likely be returning it soon. . . . Everything else works well- case is nice- footprint is acceptable. Cable provided is a bit short. . .

Not quite fully functional, not as bad as I thought at first, but not great
2nd UPDATE: I ordered a LENOVO 40AC dock. It turns out the Lenovo is able to output on both DP ports, support triple monitors over DP 1.2 daisy chain and also the audio port is recognized - which makes up for the shortcomings of this WAVLINK dock. The WAVLINK dosck was unable to output over both DP ports at once and the audio port was not recognized. The WAVLINK dock is on it's way back for a refund. Interestingly, there was one other review up for this product before, it was 5-stars and it has mysteriously disappeared.1st UPDATE:I am updating this review. I originally left a one-star review, but discovered I could get this to work, but not as it was intended. I will leave my original review text at the end.I was able to get multi-monitors to work - but still only one DP port is active. This is probably a limitation of my laptop and the PCI lanes available to it. I am able to daisy chain 3 monitors with DP 1.2 using only one of the DP ports on dock. The dock is still only able to have one DP port active with my laptop. The audio jack is not recognized in my system, I am using Windows 10 Pro.I am able to multi-monitor with DP, but this is only because I happen to have monitors that can do this. Those with HDMI only or do not have DP in/out on their monitors are left with only 1 monitor out if the dock only can activate 1 DP port as mine does. My laptop is the G3-3579, which is at the end upper end of the midrange and also has GTX 1060 max-Q in addition to the CPU Intel Graphics. Those who are hoping this can drive 2 HDMI outs with their laptop be aware that it is very possible to only have 1 active DP out port.I was able to get the dock to do what I had intended it to do, but I couldn't do it out of the box and in order to get it to work, it took some borderline hacking. I was lucky enough to have the monitors that could handle this situation. I did have to provide my own DP cables.3-stars as one of the DP ports and the audio section is inactive. Will update if anything of note happens.Following is my original review, which had the title: "AWFUL product. Worse than a $10 dongle. Only 1 DP port works at a time." I had high hopes for this product. It had all the ports I needed. Too bad they don't all work. This is going in an advanced Dell laptop with Thunderbolt 3 and an i7-8700H CPU. It's a very standard vanilla build and nothing unusual. This product completely failed to deliver. I had previously been using a USB-C to HDMI and VGA dongle and this WAVLINK item is worse than that. I am switching it back to the dongle and returning the item. Unfortunately, the dock isn't going to fair well in my YouTube unboxing/review video. I am thinking of not even leaving a YouTube review because the item is so bad. Both DP ports do work on the dock - but not at the same time. It defaults to only one port. I tried the monitors on both DP 1.1 and 1.2 - same result. Only one is active. If I unplug the active one, the other port becomes active and the other monitor goes on. It will not feed a signal to both monitors at the same time. If I daisy chain the DP, both monitors go on, but are mirroring and not extended - which is something I could have done without the dock.At first, I couldn't hot swap the dock's USB ports, a BIOS setting took care of that.Horrible horrible product. Even my $10 dongle I have can output to 2 different monitors and extend desktops, this item can't even do that.
