Mottdam Circuit Breaker 50-300A, Circuit Breaker 50 Amp Reset Fuse 12-48V DC Fuse Car Boat Circuit Breaker (300A)

Would of been a 5 star review, but it lasted about 4 weeks and then decided to fail…With it being waterproof, it’s been designed not to be opened up, so I can’t inspect to see what’s not working.Spent over an hour trying to work out what was wrong with my system, turned out it was this component.Had to buy another now and can’t return this as it failed after the window to return, won’t be buying again.

Installed this on battery cable to inverter but was sceptical of its 300A rating looking at it and have now found it keeps tripping when inverter draws much current (nowhere near 300a)

Perfect to use with an off-grid solar system with batteries.Connect batteries to the inverter via the circuit breaker.

This was to replace a previous one which had failed after several years in a semi protected environment on my boat. This one is significantly less well made. I don't have much faith in it lasting many years.
