The black is discreet and works great

These work great for fungus gnats in conjunction with Mosquito Bits "tea". The sticky traps capture the adults and the tea kills the larvae. I'm back for more sticky traps because I only did one treatment of the tea. Population went down significantly but then more larvae came out. Instructions are to: use mosquito bits for fungus gnats, create a "tea" by soaking 4 tablespoons of bits in 1 gallon of water (1/2 Tablespoon for 16oz) for at least 30 minutes. Strain the bits out (I put the bits in the cheapest knee high stockings I could find so I didn't have to strain it. I can cut the knee high in 2 and tie it up.) and apply the treated water to the soil surface of your plants. Repeat this weekly for three to five weeks to break the fungus gnat life cycle. Using yellow sticky traps in combination with the bit-infused water can also help catch the adult gnats and reduce the breeding population. NOTE: this stuff does get moldy - I will make a fresh batch weekly until treatment is done.

I love these sticky traps! Great quality/value for the money you pay, they work!! I have found numerous amounts of gnats on these, people say the yellow are the best but I bought the black and they still work very well. Easy application / removal. 10/10 would buy again!

Sticky traps in black! How cool is that! I have always used yellow traps and really kind of felt sorry for the bugs that were stuck on them, but now I can hardly see them. In addition to looking nice in the plant, these traps are super sticky as compared to ones I have used previously, and they are very easy to peel. I am using them for my houseplants and in the garden where they are such a big help in reducing critter munch. A great value for the money. Love them!

I have purchased these in the past, and this was purchased from a different seller. I would say that this time around they didn’t work very good. They were very sticky, but they did not attract all the flies that we got pestered with. So I am really not sure why that is. So I cannot read this item 5 stars
