for every day normie use they work great.
I caved in and bought $50 suspenders and I don't regret it after trying lots of cheap ones. I Am slim/athletic and carry about 10 LBS of tools and junk every day in cargo pants, this takes the stress off my hips and butt muscles from waddling around and constantly having to try to keep my pants up but they are not riding up anywhere, the tension is on the sides. The velcro clips are definitely going to stray strapped in and that was the other biggest problem I've had with other suspenders. I am looking forward to a new life now going forward. Plus they are made in the U.S.

Comfortable, easy use
Having used Army issue and various Y and H suspenders in the past, I was looking for something that kept my pants up while hiking but was comfortable. Couldn't be happier with these so far after a few days of wear.I hike with a stiff belt that also holds a fixed blade, paddle holster and mag holder. After I'm warmed up I find myself constantly hitching my pants up as they loosened, got heavier with sweat, pulled from bushes. I knew suspenders would resolve this.At 5'10" and around 230lb I am built more like a brick than a my youthful V taper. After letting all the room out in the suspenders, I shrugged it on and easily attached the metal clips to my pants belt loops. It was much to loose meaning this will certainly work for taller and wider people than myself. I adjusted the tension to a taut position and was incredibly pleased at the comfort. The wide straps distributes the weight well. I didn't feel confined at all. My pants stayed in place and the bungy action allows me to move actively and not feel constricted. Overall very pleased.

Not perfect, but comfortable under armor.
Narrow and elastic, so they have some spring, but don't carry a heavy load without digging it. Pistol + mags, radio and IFAK would be the useful load of these suspenders to me. The narrow straps can dig in if you're wide-shouldered, but if you wear body armor or a PC, they're not noticeable at all. For the armor-specific application these suspenders are excellent. I'd recommend these for a first-line setup under armor, not for a battle belt or heavy beltline setup.Minor problems: The adjustment buckles are slick and don't like to stay in place under load, I had to pin them with electrical tape to keep them adjusted. It comes with velcro belt loops that attach onto the G-hooks themselves, which works fine, but the fit between the hook and belt loop is so tight it can be frustrating to put on; I wouldn't rely on them as a quick-release item.

They come unhooked
They are ok though for me they come unhooked sometimes when there’s slack while sitting or alike. they are pretty hard to reach back and try to re hook while wearing. A hook with a spring clip for retention would be far better.

Comfortable and works well
Wore this during a defensive shotgun class wearing an admin pouch with spare shells. The weight was never a problem. I never even noticed l was wearing these except when I need to take them off, which is easily done.

Great idea, so poorly executed.
The product in theory is fantastic, the actual product you get is a mess.Mine literally came with one side tied backwards, I’ll have to take the whole thing apart to get it right. Which brings me to the tightening mechanism, that requires the jaws of death and an engineering degree to get to move. The end of the straps also have no barrier so they usually end up slipping out of the holder anyways.Wouldn’t really recommend, it’ll be more work to get them to a place where they’re wearable than the price warrants.

Very comfortable and effective way to aid when carrying a tad more weight on a belt that you may desire. Certainly not load bearing but a good addition depending on the load out.

Good fit. Top quality.
Gotta know how to manage your tightening straps. If you know , these suspenders are the best.I wish it was easier to get extra keepers here in Canada but whatever.I have tried suspenders of all kinds. As a big guy , these are not the most comfortable but they provide the best ability to keep things where they need to be.The shock cord is super durable, trust me I wear these to work all day long. I thought they would wear out fast. But they don’t, it’s been almost 2 years and all is good. The other 2” elastic style trucker suspender lost their elasticity after a year and these are still doing what they are designed to do exactly how they are supposed to do it. They don’t stretch out overTime. Velcro on the keepers is still as it was when new. Now I wear these with a 1.75” operator belt. I’ve also used them with a Ferro bison and they also work great with no issues. The G hooks are great for when you need to use the washroom and they are easy to reattach. I’ve worn them without a shirt, yea it’s not the most ideal but after your skin toughens up, you can wear them against skin just fine. If that is what you are after then perhaps another brand or style would be better.
