Pretty porcelain cup and saucer from Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. Yes, the designation is correct. The cup and saucer have the burgundy LFZ Made in Russia mark indicating that it was produced for export between 1996-2001. The company changed its name in 2005 and the newer marks are blue.The cup holds 4-5 oz. The porcelain is very thin and translucent. Both the cup and saucer are trimmed in gold. It is a hand wash carefully item, and should never go in a microwave.
