I use this for my squats when I get to the heavier weights (315 and up). This pad is very thick, when it first came in the mail I squeezed it as hard as I could and it barely left a imprint.. VERY IMPRESSED. Its really comfortable to squat with this on and the velcro straps make it not move at all on the bar. I would recommend this to those who are looking for some comfort in their squats especially with the heavier weights or those who dont have fully developed traps and need the cushioning. As far as hip thrusts this is amazing for that . Im 6'1" 305lbs and it covers my whole pelvis so it should work for the ladies and most people. Please buy!!!

Considering this is to protect your neck, the foam doesn't close all the way and exposes your neck to the bar on heavier weight, so kinda pointless to have it, I bought another one called the FIT VIVA it comes with metal for the strap instead of plastic and it closes all the way.

This is a huge pad but the little cut in the center allows the neck to fit comfortably. The velcro straps do a good job keeping it in place, there's a little spin to it sometimes but stays centered and in place. The pad allows squatting heavy without hurting the shoulders, whether doing front or back squats. Good quality and its cheap.

Purchased this padding mainly for seared calf raises(where you rest the bar right above the knee. Much improved comfort over just the bar. I can see this item being useful for hip thrusts as well.The price was right as I was looking for one with the right dimensions for me, would purchase again.

Husband and I are getting back into shape and made a home gym in are basement . This barbell pad makes it so easy when I do squats with my barbell. It's got amazing cushion that it makes it so comfortable . The padding isn't to bulky where it gets in the way at all. Would recommend this product for sure to anybody who needs some padding on there barbell .

Very positive things to say. For the price it can’t be beat. It arrived overnite too! I ordered this pad for hip thrusts and not necessarily for squats. It’s very thick - twice as much as any you’ve seen in your gym: that’s a huge plus for me. It looks to be high quality and I’ll update as time goes by.

i used the barbells a lot for my legs workout routine need to get a barbell pad for my neck and shoulder also to not use the ones at the gym :) great so far as i said just got it so lets see if it last but i recommended getting one

I do like how slim it is and comfortable it is. I mainly use it for hip thrusts and it gets the job done. It is super lightweight and easy to carry around. It comes with two additional straps for extra security on the bar.

Very effective. Does not make squats with a bar easier but cannot fault neck comfort.

As an older person I have had problems with flexibility, especially in the shoulders. When squatting with a barbell it is impossible to situate the bar lower on my back where it should be. The Exodus foam cushion allows me to rest the bar higher, enabling me to perform squats. The cushion's indentation fits nicely around my neck, protecting my upper spine. This product, although pricey, is worthwhile for the serious strength trainee.

Product is great quality except for the straps, one broke 3 weeks after reception...
