First Words Picture Flashcards for Ages 1-3 (CGP Preschool Activity Books and Cards)

I bought these cards for my 18 month old to start learning her first words and for my SEN 4 year old to boost her vocabulary.They are the perfect size - not too big or too small. Colours are very bright and attract the attention of a young child, pictures are fantastic and the best feature is probably that they are all in English, not American, unlike most of the flash cards on here.The cards are not laminated, so would not recommend handing them to your child to play with as they are not waterproof and will also bend easily.Aside from that, I’m very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

Iv been using these recently with my 18 month old. Its really helped him learning lots of new words that you wouldn’t ordinarily teach day to day. I try to use them once a day for only around 10 minutes and he’s picking up on the words and pictures so quickly

Great set of cards with a nice variety. Brightly coloured, clearly laid out. My only negative would be, I think the early years words should be either simpler or more of them. My daughter is almost 2 and isn't saying much. There weren't many 'starting' words but I look forward to using them more as she grows and learns more

Too many first word books have images that look nothing like they are in real life. While they are still cartoon drawings, these are fairly recognisable and more helpfully they are every day nouns. So they are a good first start (although pointing to the actual objects around the house and in the world and naming them obviously works even more effectively!)

Great activity for children when they are leaning their first words. My children played with these a lot and helped them spot objects in the real world. You get lots of themes too. Only downside is there isn’t a case so the box gets worn after a while and you are forever picking cards up! Would purchase as a gift for other children

Nice designs, wish the letters were slightly larger as I bought these to teach my daughter letters, and start to see and understand words. She’s 15 months and it’s working but would be easier if they were just slightly more noticeable on the card.Cards are bendable and will crease but they are wipeable if anything spills on them. Overall I’m happy with the product as it serves the purpose

My daughter loves these cards, we use them alongside other toys to match things together and practice words
