I love this water bottle! I've owned countless water bottles, but this is my favorite. I got the 24 oz size - perfect for my use for water in the gym and throughout the day. The wide top screws off completely to conveniently add ice. I love the carrying handle / loop on the top, which also holds open the screw-off cap to the drinking spout and keeps that cap away from my nose and face when I drink. I love that the screw-off cap securely covers the drinking spout and is leakproof - no more wetness in my gym bag - and is attached by a hinge to the top of the bottle so that it can't be lost. The 3/4" diameter drinking spout seems a perfect size to drink from while still allowing air into the bottle to keep the liquid flowing. The bottle keeps the contents cold for a long time (I've used it only for cold liquids) without condensation outside the bottle. The protective bumper at the bottom is a nice touch. I also love that the bottle is dishwasher-safe. The diameter of the bottom of the bottle (about 3") allows it to fit into the beverage holders in the front seat of both our cars. I haven't found any shortcomings in this bottle: it's perfect for my use.

These are the best. I now have one in this 24oz size to take to work & a smaller one for at home. What I love: leakproof, easy to drink from spout (no straw or mouth piece to have to suck the drink out) that’s also small enough to hold your ice inside, wide opening for ice with cap off, & easy to clean-the seals have a tab making them easy to pull out & clean. They are on the weighty side like all insulated drink holders but is slim enough I can hold it with one hand. And with the bottom rubber coaster on this size as well as my smaller one do fit in my car’s cup holder. Goes in just barely enough for it to “hold” it in the center console, but just fine in the other drink holder spot in my door (2013 VW Golf) compared to another popular insulated drink holder out there that shall remain nameless that is very big around & would not fit anywhere in my car. And it does keep things cold for a long time. I work a 12 hr shift & I will still have ice in my drink at the end of it. At night I keep my smaller one on my bedside table & really appreciate having something cold to drink when needed during the night (that won’t spill if I knock it over) I haven’t tried them out with hot drinks yet. I read a review where someone said they didn’t keep things cold very long at all, I will say that when I leave the cap open the ice melts much faster. But that would only make sense that it wouldn’t retain its full thermo properties with it open to air, so maybe they had theirs open? At any rate I’m very happy with these. I’ve seen some knockoffs out there & the quality is noticeably lower.

Take a S'well bottle, fix all the problems, and you get this.- S'well bottles slide everywhere and the base dents when you drop them. The Takeya comes with a rubber shoe to help both issues.- S'well bottles have terrible lids that are difficult to grasp, easy to break, and easy to misplace. The Takeya has the best lid I've ever used. There's an integrated drinking spout that tilts back out of the way. The lid has a rubber ring that is extremely easy to grasp. With the lid off you have a full-size rim that is very easy to get a brush into. There are even little grab tabs on the gaskets if you want to clean them. And on top of that there's a sturdy handle built in.My only complaint us that it's not dishwasher safe, which is a common trait in this category of bottle. Otherwise, this is the perfect bottle. There are tons of colors to pick from, so what's not to like?

I've had many bottles from Takeya. I've ran over one, dropped one from great heights, and abused the rest. This new one has a better seal on the cap. The cap is somewhat insulated compared to the old style. The first bottle they sent me was defective. It didn't keep my water cold. This replacement works as it should and I'm happy

This product has been great for hiking, camping, and day-to-day usage. Keeps cold close to the advertised time. Survives extremely hot climates/direct sunlight while staying cold. The rubber pad on the bottom does make a difference when placing it down, and absorbs the shock when dropping.So far the lid is great, very easy to clean. I do have a mild concern with the clip. It does feel malleable around the joint which is concerning, but so far it hasn't broken with intentional force.The only real con is the seal. If you do tighten the cap too much, the rubber o-ring will displace and it won't hold a very good seal. Instinctively you want to wrench down the cap, but hand-tight does the trick. As long as the cap is hand-tight the seal holds great. I would most definitely recommend this product for anyone torn on ordering a Hydroflask, Stanley, or other.
