I am a Dog Trainer with over 20 years experience. This system works great for teaching with in close range like a football field (100 to 200 yards). You do need to take the time to understand how it works. Read the instructions.

I chose this collar because I liked the idea of having a ring on my hand and being able to hit the button quickly if needed, but I hardly every use the ring because it doesn't like to work all the time. If the ring doesn't have a clear view of the remote it won't work, so save your money on that.The remote is nice and about the size of a key fob. The buttons are small and there are so many it makes it difficult to remember what button does what. The most commonly used buttons on top are easy to find quickly without looking, so that's what most important.I like the vibrate feature, but it doesn't do much for my Aussie. If she's really interested in something, she doesn't even notice it. Also with the vibration feature, its that OR sound. You can't have both and that was kind of a let down.The collar is a pain with the buckle, but all training collars are like that. I ordered a quick release elastic collar on Etsy and it made a world of difference for like $10.The range is good and covers our .75 acres just fine. I love the light feature to be able to see where my girl is at night.Battery life is great! I usually charge it nightly, but I've forgotten and the charge held for two days. Possibly longer, but I charged it before it ran out of juice.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and I'd buy it again.

Ecollar can’t create a bad product. I love the new FOB appearance. It’s sleeker and the on/off buttons are amazing. However, the 300 ez educator will give you more options and customizable training. My puppies train on 300 and my older dogs get the FOB. The vibrate is a lot less if you use it. Battery is perfect. Everything is perfect.

Terrible item

I needed a small remote for my working dog and this is perfect. So far so good! There weren't many reviews of it online or videos but I found a couple of helpful videos on YouTube that explain how to use it and program it. That helped. Easy to charge both at the same time thanks to the charger.

Can't say enough good things about this e-collar. The charge lasts a long time, the sound is loud enough and the range is impressive. Can't recommend this e-collar enough. It has been a wonderful addition to help with training.

Amazing quality. This is our second one, first one lasted two years until it started to not be able to charge fully.
