I purchased this twirling baton and ribbon for my young niece who is just getting into cheer and gymnastics. The set is pretty nice, especially for a kid just looking to experiment and play. Starting with the ribbon, it is a nice looking ribbon in my opinion. The ribbon looks standard length and flowed nicely when whipping it about. We even tried tossing and catching it and didn’t do too bad. Cat parents will want to keep their kitties out of the room when the ribbon is in play as they all just viewed it as a giant cat toy. Even with repeated cat attacks, the ribbon held up and I did not notice any frayed marks from claw attacks. The baton is where I knock this set just a little bit because it feels like it could easily get dented. The baton is very light weight but we were able to twirl it nicely. The metal is shiny and it has solid white caps on both ends and seemed balanced enough for play. In the end, these might not be good for professional or competition use, but for play and experimentation they are great tools to spark a young kid’s interest in the sport.

Not a good baton wish I would have returned it! It is fat not weighted it is strictly a play baton

My daughter took a summer camp of baton twirling. She loves it. I got this baton for her for at home. It is super light wait, which was odd. But, oh well. It works, for now!!

Size was perfect. And it somes with the separate ribbon wand as well.

Neither balaced or weighted, so is useless as a good twirling baton. I got it as a follow up to physical therapy for a torn rotator cuff. I think it will serve the purpose so I won't give it completely thumbs down.

Fantastic set! I did not realize this was a baton and ribbon set. I thought the ribbon clipped onto the baton somehow but was pleasantly surprised to find they are separate flow items. The kids and I enjoy playing with these and they hold up well even when used a little rough. It will be fun to play with these outside once the weather warms up. I like bringing flow toys like this camping to give the kids some entertainment. I would absolutely recommend this set, it is awesome.
