Great record great songs great band.

Owned this LP when it first came out. This is a great vinyl reissue. Heavy weight vinyl with original see through cover. Superb quality sound. Played through a project debut evo turntable, old harbeth speakers and a musical fidelity m2 si amplifier it sounds wonderful. Far better than the original in my view.

The Doors' Masterpiece itself isn’t the issue, but it arrived scratched on side 2, starting from the bottom last song. It skips repeatedly on 'Riders on the Storm' and ruined my mood. Return started, and I’ll reorder another copy
