Kautilya's Arthashastra Paperback – July 21, 2016

This year's (2013) Army War College included readings from Kautilya's Arthashastra, and it provides a very interesting break from the Sun Tzu, Clausewitz and Jomini routine. This book reveals a very interesting cultural look into early India, and is a great framework for examining the underpinnings of a society quite different by today's norms. Worth reading for anyone interested in civil-military strategy, or in any number of other social-science themes.

As some one who has read the original in Sanskrit (with hindi) I must say that this book has done a good job of translating the original.

This is a fascinating read for organizations. This is an ancient text and it reads like rules for a modern corporation! If you take the certain certains out.

The page numbers are all 580 so you don’t know what actual page you are on.

The book is very interesting and exactly as expected.

Ultimate should read it.

interesting read

Every law student or civil services aspirants should read this book. Even if you are not in abovementioned category, you should read this masterpiece work by Kautilya to our ancient intellect and to feel proud of our glorious history.Apart from that, the pages of this book are super thin.and the binding is also not good of this book. I have a habit of maintaining book in good condition, but I don't think this book will stay as it is in new condition.

The media could not be loaded.  I really rove to read this book because it has contents like Polotics, law, war etc.. I received this book in good condition, and it also bit lite to carry. I expect that they could have provided a bookmark for this book, except that it's good.
