The Sarcasm Handbook

As a general connoisseur of general sarcasm, I found the book a quick read and helpful in deducing new methods of the art. Be warned, utilizing this art form in the workplace is not for the faint of heart.

I bought this book for my 15 year old grandson who loves sarcasm but I could not give it to him. The humor was tasteless and filthy, not suitable reading for anyone. Disgusting jokes about women, foul language, making fun of people's character flaws - I don't know why anybody would publish this book, let alone read it. I'm not happy that I had to pay $6.00 to send it back but the only other option was to burn it. If I could give it a less than zero, I would.

Hilarious! It is intelligent, it is funny! Good for short spare time read. It make me laugh and think . Love it!

Mr. Dorman, is a true wit. his compilation of snarky quotes is definitely a winner. I have three of his volumes and each offers great laughs and chuckles. If you like this type of humor, these are for you! they are also super gifts and i have purchased a few for that very reason!

Not limited to sarcasm, the book includes similar types of humor. Not a great book, but did have some pretty good zingers.

Here and there there are occasionally funny bits but most of it is trite especially the parts dealing with rock groups and songs and worst of all dealing with politics. May be worth it if you can get it for free.

This is a well written collection of various forms of sarcasm in different media. I laughed hard at some quotes and chuckled at many more. I will reread it more than once.

An occasional funny one but pretty hard to find. Save your money and buy a something you can use for real entertainment.

A famous American drummer once said "Nobody does sarcasm better than the English" and he's right - we are the best in the world! This book is awful; puerile, monotonous and as though it was written by a ten year old. I could hardly get started - never mind finish it!

A book about sarcasm? Oh yes, what a great use of your money. I mean it’s not like there are charities out there that feed and house starving, homeless people who you could have chosen to give the money to instead - of course not. I think this will become a literary classic. And as well as that, obviously will 100% change your life. As in fact it did mine. I am a totally different person now I’ve read it.

First read a sample of this book and decided to go for a printed full version.Some pant wettingly funny parts in here and provides an array of various retorts to deal with the everyday buffoons I come across.Good read.

Everything went as planned. 🧙‍♂️

It was not terribly sarcastic. Won't be buying further editions.
