Well engineered; makes cold brew on nitro a breeze!
Stop reading and buy this if you make coffee is batches over a couple of gallons; you well save 10x the cost in your time.I’d highly recommend this product. One of the worst parts about making cold brew coffee on nitro is filtering out the fines. Due to this products triple filtration I’d highly recommend this product. One of the worst parts about making cold brew coffee on nitro is filtering out the fines. Due to this products triple filtration (paper or PLA filter, permanent stainless steel filter, and 5 micron spigot filter), it makes kegging my cold brew a piece of cake.Clean-up, The other giant pain of making large batches of cold brew coffee, it’s a breeze with the Cold Brew Pro 4. I used 3 gal of water and 1,000g of course ground coffee, and let it brew in the fridge for 17 hrs and it turned out perfect.Anyone suffering from long times caused by fines caught up in the 5 micron filter; I heard that they now have a spigot filter that is 1/2 as thick, still gives the same filtering power, but with less restrictive flow. I can’t wait to try theses.Well done Brewista!

Works great
Got this for the office and just finished the first batch with 2lb of coffee and 4 gallons of water for ready to drink cold brew, result turned out great but next time I might put a bit more coffee in for personal preference or use something darker than a medium roast. The only slight annoyance I ran into was that when I lifted the filter to drain it the bottom of the filter was just barely below the water line but that's probably user error, it was easily fixed by transferring out a bit of it into my fridge dispenser. As far as pour speed goes I had no issue transferring the brew out and it took less than 10 minutes without the super fine filter that can be placed on the inside part of the spigot. From what I've read it's only truly needed if you were planning on putting the coffee on a nitro tap and you should expect that fine of a filter to take a while to go through anyway, also from what I've seen this seems to be the only system this size that has that as a feature so trying to compare the transfer speed with the fine filter to a system without one doesn't make sense.

Well designed and Easy to Use
Great product. The first batch of cold brew came out perfect. Started with 4lbs of coffee to 4gal filtered water (1:1)...could be a bit stronger imo. I like the redundant filtration to suit your needs, and the ability to change/modify. Cool feature: simply drain the inner basket by using the built-in step that allows the inner basket to rest elevated on the outer. Also, cleanup was very easy. My only criticism is that it would be helpful to have volume graduations for liquid level.

Nice product
I like the way this brewer is designed for the most part. And the coffee I made with mine came out great. The only issue I’ve found with it so far, is that the filter on the pour spout gets clogged quickly making it tough to use that filter / or it takes FOREVER for the coffee to empty out into a bottle.

HOW TO USE THE BREWISTA AND PAPER FILTERS
I used 40 of these so far. I had ripped only one, and that was my fault. I tried to pick up the filter after I filled it... Here is instructions...1 fill your 7 gallon bucket up with your cold brew mash.... (coffee grinds and water)Line your brewista with the filter paperTake your day old mash and siphon it from the 7 gallon bucket into your paper filter (dont jam the hose into the filter... gently allow the liquid to pour in...Once no more liquid start scooping the wet mash and gently put it into the brewista (in the filter)Wait 30 min (all done)5 gallons of usable cold brew out of 6.5 gallon mash...Having 7 gallon buckets you can make 10 gallons an hour this way....(DO NOT BREW IT IN THE BREWISTA..) brewing it in the 7 gallon buckets allows you to protect and keep your cold brew hygienic. And you can use the buckets to store the cold brew when you're done.

Brewing bliss
We love cold brew and now we have PLENTY. I brew it every 2 weeks and I love that! My old, smaller brewer (and hubby’s cold brew habit) become a labor of love every 3-4 days. This system is better for because it filters 3-ways, has a slanted bottom to drain well, has a lid, no glass carafe to shatter, and only brewing 2x month. The negative? - space and size of the system, and that we drink WAY too much coffee now.

I like it!
This cold brew system has been great for brewing batches for farmer's markets. Having an additional filter at the spout can make for a slower pour, but it is filtering for a cleaner brew, and it's the finished product that matters to me. Concentrate will pour slower than "ready to drink" through the filter as expected. Doesn't bother me.The clean up is easy. The product it produces is great. I will probably buy another one at some point.

Definitely the easiest way I've ever made cold brew
I love this bucket system. I keg nitro cold brew at home and this makes the clearest coffee I've ever made. The addition of the felt filter over the spout captures virtually ALL the sediment and "mud". I used to have a noticeable amount of sludge in the bottom of a keg after the coffee was finished, but after switching to this there is virtually none. I'm really impressed with it. It seems the consumables (filter, bags etc) all last a reasonable amount of time as well. They do sell packets of the cleaner but I just use Oxy Clean Free powder to keep costs down, which is essentially the same thing. For ready-to-drink coffee I use 8oz of coarse coffee for every gallon of water. For some reason it's hard to find recipes that aren't for concentrate, but this is what I eventually settled on and requires no dilution.7/26/2020 Update: Had to reduce it to one star because now I need to order replacement supplies and their "new" website has been "coming soon" since May, they don't answer emails and there's no way to get slim filters, and the regular filters clog. It's like this company freaking vanished and left all their customers out to dry. Do yourself a favor and go with a Toddy system, at least there are other vendors who carry their replacement consumables.
