I bought these a while back. I always have issues with the waist of my pants being too large. These have been awesome! An added bonus is that in the past year I have lost 30-40 lbs and I am still able to wear some of my favorite bottoms thanks to these tools. They can be tricky to connect and placement is important, but I am definitely purchasing more.

Would have been 5 stars but one pearl was missing.

I got this mainly for one pair of jeans to use the diamond ones. With that, they work.However! The pins are so difficult to get apart for most of them and I tried to redo the pins I originally put in the jeans to make them even tighter, but I wasn’t actually able to pull them out!Yet another Amazon seller who hot glued the pieces together, as there was a missing pearly one. And I mean I have hot glue to redo them, but it wasn’t even in the package.Overall they worked, but I can’t redo as easily as I would like to. It seems like I probably can’t wash these now either with the metal clanging around… cute, but I’d try something else if you have options!

These are great if you don't know how to sew but you need to take in a pair of pants at the waist because they are a bit big---but you love the pants! There are two different types of closures that come with the kit; one purl and one clear sparkle. They both look great and they do dress up the pants. In addition, they are very easy to install. I am a thriftier and I do sew but these contractions just reduced my mending pile! I am ordering more for myself as the first set was for a custom alternating job.

It does not work.

As with other reviews they are nxt to impossible to separate. Definitely a design flaw for connecting as the push pins themselves are too lrg or the fasteners are too short. Does not want to hook together and doesn’t leave a nice flat pleat. Pins are too short, dull for thick fabric. Very disappointing as I wanted to love these. Great concept but needs some serious work and attention to design.

Worked really well to tighten a dress that was too big. The pins are sturdy and hold a lot of weight. Safety pins were too flimsy and this worked well and also looked like part of the dress.
