Awesome "budget" bass Amp for a pro so why not
Cracking bass Amp. I'm a recently signed guitarist in the USA (I'm originally British) and I literally got this for home use and it's amazing. Fender just knows what they're doing with "budget kit". Nice range of tones from it, very loud, but also manageable for lower levels for neighbour's, aux input great for playing along and I even use this as a speaker, very noticeable on small alterations, bass, treble, the distortion on it is amazing too I have it engaged and it's not fuzzy or "distorted" to me it picks it up and just sounds awesome! It is big and heavy, so you know it's well built, value is excellent, it's not a bad size for traveling and for in the home either so it's practical and useful for getting in the car for your band practice or studio sesh. Practiceability lol... I would literally record my demos with this. I record ideas etc with it and does the job great

Definitely worth buying. For a mid range priced amplifier, ticks all the boxes. Great for pub gigs.
Outstanding. Very loud, very deep/bass'y, good for pub gigs, and very good for the home, but not for the neighbours 🤣

A good starter/home amp.
Great sound for a small amp and cabinet is surprisingly lightweight. Speaker and cab are just big enough to give good heft and weight to the tone but still a good focussed sound. Decent driven tones too. Great for home practice and quieter rehearsals/gigs but the lineout means you can hook up to a PA if you need more. All in all an excellent first amp or for a home set up - would definitely recommend the extra expense over smaller amps for more longevity.

VFM, great practice amp
Good quality, very solid, good sound, low volume practice amp. Great vfm, you get what you pay for.

Does its job
Wonderfully compact. None of the hiss and him others have complained of. Too much bass tone and the e string will burp a bit but it works well as a practice amp. Haven’t tried yet but I’m sure there is enough volume for a small acoustic gig. Very light too which is important for me. All in all I’m happy with this amp. Oh, Looks good too. I won’t be selling my GK in a hurry though.

I ordered this along cool little amp with a Vault P Bass (http://www.amazon.in/Vault-VPB4-4-String-Precision-Guitar/dp/B00PND9F14/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1419666895&sr=1-1&keywords=Bass) Having been a long time fan of Fender equipment, I opened up the box and though I am from California, I noticed that something did not look quite right with the plug. A bit of research indicated that the plug was not for India, but rather for England/Singapore! As luck would have it, Amazon had a universal travel plug adaptor (http://www.amazon.in/GM-UNIVERSAL-ADAPTOR-protector-shutter/dp/B008MWO7MA/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1419667091&sr=1-2&keywords=travel+adaptor) and I had that delivered the next day. Hopefully, this will not happen to you! BTW: HINT: The power cord where it connects from the amp, wants to see a 3 prong, female connector, similar to that found on many PCs. If you have a spare one at home, it may work for you. The amp is a pleasure to play through. I have found dialing in my ideal tone is very straightforward. It has a very warm and rich sound...though I do not like treble in my bass tone, however, it is available of you are into that kind of sound. For me, the P or Jazz Bass with flatwounds is perfect, and though I don't have flatwounds on my bass here (yet) I'm getting a very nice tone that I can live with. I would willingly use the amp in a small live setting and certainly for recording. Well done Fender. I'll pick one of these up when I return to California shortly!

In one word, Brilliant. I have used many bass amps. Even Hartke which is also a good practice amp. But the Fender Rumble just beats all others.
