Great pants!
The material is durable but nice and light. The external tool pockets tucking into the pants pockets nicely if you don't need to carry tools in them. Those tool pockets are also removable. The waste bans had a rubberized coating to help hold you shirt inside, which is very nice. These are thw most comfortable work pants that I own. The fit is nice, for a work pant I usually over size one size for comfort but that is just my preference. Tge waste band also had some stretchiness to it with is nice. These pants are thin for hot weather and quick drying. There is no lining to trap moisture however they have extra durable materials on the knees, knee pad pockets, and reinforcement just about everywhere you normally see wear.I highly recommend these pants!

Quality and storage
Great work pants with alot of storage, the knee pads option is amazing. Length is longer than normal so go one size shorter.

Fantastic work pants
These pants are great. Very comfortable, they don't fall down, they are LONG, and they have a ton of storage in very useable places. I've only had them a month or so, but the durability seems great. One of my complaints with other work pants was always storage location. Sometimes the pockets are just too high up to be easily used. That is not the case with these. The phone pocket is in a great location and the clip on tool bags are so handy. When I'm done working, I can just unclip them and set them aside for the next day. Finally, it's awesome they make these in 36 length. Other brands stop at 34 or even 32. I'm 6'3, so getting the knee pads in the right place and keeping my socks covered when I bend down is critical.Highly recommend (even if the price is tough to swallow. buy once cry once I guess.

Comfortable, water resistant, kneepad pockets. Great construction pants.
As a carpenter, I love having pants with built in knee pad pockets. I've tried various brands and styles, and these definitely fit the bill. The Caterpillar knee pads fit in the knee pad pockets easily, and I love that there is a divider in the knee pad pocket allowing me to put two knee pads into each side, which is helpful if I ever know I'm going to be on my knees a lot, like if I'm doing tile work. These pants are very water resistant. I wouldn't say they're exactly water proof, but for the most part they do a good job keeping my legs dry when I'm doing anything related to liquid (power washing, working in the rain, cleaning tile/grouting, etc.)My first pair lasted me over a year before one of the legs got caught on a nail and ripped open. I immediately ordered another pair. The knee pad pockets do seem to stretch out a bit over time, so after about 9 months of using them I found I had to use more knee pad inserts or else keep shifting the knee pads around in order to keep them where I wanted. The detachable pouches are a nice feature, but I rarely use them as I usually have a fairly large tool belt on. It's nice to have the option to just use the small pockets for those times that I know I won't be needing ALL of my tools. The waistband is just flexible enough to be comfortable without making the pants feel too loose. These pants don't hold a candle to the Blacklader X1600, but at about half the price you really can't go wrong.I work hard, and I work a lot, so getting about a year out of my first pair of these was completely acceptable. I'm still using my new pair, and so far they've held up to all sorts of tough jobs.Definitely recommended for anyone in the building trades.

Love these pants!
I work in telecom and have tried every pair of pants known to man. All of my Carhart pants fit well, but all end up tearing the fabric in the same spot after less than 6 months or so. So far, these pants have held up much better, and are very easy to keep clean. These pants are incredibly comfortable! They don’t bind in the crotch at all and the fabric is both cool in warm weather, but warm in cold weather but very lightweight. The best thing I can say is you don’t feel them while climbing, kneeling and such like I always did with others. I also really like the grippers around the waistband as it really does help keep your shirt tucked in. The built in tool pouches seemed kind of gimmicky, but after using them, they are very convenient, and seem to hold up well to screws and other items. The knee pad pockets are a wonderful for those of us getting older and kneeling on herd surfaces. You don’t even need the fancy knee pads, I just cut some foam pads I had to fit and they work great. Will definitely be getting another pair.

THE BEST WORK PANTS PERIOD.
These are definitely the best work pants I have found. They have an option for knee pads which I put a silicone trivet / mat inside. It fits perfectly and is light-weight. Durability is excellent, flexibility is great - plenty of pockets and a protective inside pocket for sharper tools. The ONLY thing I would add to these pants is additional protection/stitching at the corner of pockets where you clip a pocket knife or utility blade. That area will wear out over time. Amazing pants, but not cheap. Better to buy a few of these than replace something half price in a few weeks.
