Functionally fantastic and easy to use. Also very useful for reducing smells. As stated in the title I use it for my 3d printer and compared to the silca packs it's great value for money. Due to being in pouches it makes cleaning a non issue.

I purchased these for my camera bag after accidentally breaking the original. They are quite large - a little larger than expected in fact - but that is not a problem. So far seem to do the job as requested, and given the large amount of camera equipment for me, the main thing is that they keep everything bone dry to avoid formation of mould on expensive lenses.

I use these around the house in areas that could potentially have mould buildup. In a wardrobe, in a drawer, in the corner of a room by an external wall etc. They soak up moisture and prevent mould. I would recommend these. Before I discovered these, mould was always an issue. It isn’t now.

very good products I've now bought these separate sachets of Beads twice . A little bit expensive but they definitely work . Ideal for pretty much anything to keep the damp of moisture away in boxes and packaging .

These bags of silica gel are just the right size for my camera dry box. Was a little disappointed as these pack contain about 10% orange beads the rest are white so it may be difficult to see when they are saturated. Will see how good they are in a week or so.

These didn’t look very filling when I took out the package BUT grew magnificently in the boiling water. Looking forward to playing with recipes with these- great taste and texture!

Submerged a tablet and order a pair of 500g packets the next day. Disassembled it and stuck it in a zip lock bag with these and they dried it out in a couple days. Was able to get it going again long enough to get my data off it before it inevitably craps out prematurely.

I use these desiccant packs in the mini fridge in my office. I was always having issues with condensation in my fridge, either freezing to the back wall, or pooling at the bottom of the fridge. Everything would take on that "fridge smell".I cleaned out the fridge and put one of these 250g packs on the top shelf before restocking it with drinks. Kept the fridge dry and odor free for about 3 weeks. When I notice water pooling on the bottom of the fridge again, I swap it out for the fresh pack, soak up the pooled water with paper towel and within a day the fridge is dry again.The used pack did not turn totally green. When I hold it up to a bright light, the crystals are mostly clear with a few that are actually dark green. To recharge, I have a heating pad that I turn on high and leave the bag sitting on it overnight. Works like a charm, when I hold the bag up to the light, all the crystals are bright orange again. I haven't tried the microwave method as indicated in the instructions.While the packs only last about 3 weeks in my fridge, it's a high moisture content space, so I imagine it would last a lot longer if used to keep a gun safe or other area dry.
