I was predisposed that any particle board storage systems are inheritly junk. Since a kid, I've been fussing with these things only to see them get damaged upon assembly or trash after a year or two. Well, this storage until gave me hope for the future of sawdust and glue construction. First the assembly had some thought put into it. The directions are in simple English. The illustrations are logical. Second the cabinet went together without breaking. A first for me as a veteran particle crafter. Third the cabinets are spacious as well as protected with a silicon coating. I'd wager it could stand up to a toddler armed with crayons.The only issue I have with it was the dowel rods are a bit stubby. It made me hesitant to pick it up and relocate it. Thankfully with the power of wood glue, those dowel rods aren't going anywhere.

So, I love the finished product. It fits perfectly in a small space and actually holds a decent amount of stuff in the spaces.The downfall.... putting this thing together. I agree with other reviews that the directions are not 100% clear. You definitely have to use common sense and have a lot of patience. Regarding the dowels to help hold the parts together.. get some Gorilla Glue or other glue to help hold in place. There are no pre-drilled holes when attaching the back panel, I suggest holding the panel in place and make some starter holes with a small drill bit.I had to leave the bottom drawer catch off because the drawer would not easily slide, no issues with the other drawer stops. The other thing that I fought with were the hinges... I just could not get that concept for some reason. I think I put them on and took them off 6 times, but that was operator error for sure.Overall it is a great product. I initially ordered to use in my bathroom, but one of my daughters loved it and wanted it in her room. The drawers hold her make-up and hair products and the cabinet has misc. other items. The top of the cabinet had plenty of room for decorations she wanted on display.I will be purchasing a second one for the bathroom.

Just received 2 of these little units & I am SO happy with them! I have a very small 44” x 26” (yes those are inches lol) 1954 closet & it’s almost impossible to find a store bought system that will fit such a small space. This was my solution.Assembly: packaged VERY WELL. No damage & parts are ALL easily labeled for both units A+. The first one was very time consuming because the instructions were lacking (each step is there but they don’t give details like what side goes up etc- & it’s important) but the second unit went together in about an hour.Size: Read the dimensions. Drawers are small & not really designed for clothing.... but mine is now filled & you can see that I can put 6-7 XL T-shirt’s folded in thirds quite easily. Perfect for dainties, ball caps, socks, scarves and more. I was really surprised just how much I was able to fit.Quality: The build is solid for the price point. Not solid wood, but it’s rather thin yet still sturdy. I’ve looked into Closetmate solutions & they really aren’t any better either. I’m happy with the end results.I love that they have a slight “built in” look and they fit my space PERFECTLY. I’d highly recommend this shelving unit for storage solutions!

I bought this unit for bathroom storage, as I have a pedestal sink. The four drawers plus two shelves were an ideal configuration for what I need to store. The unit is very sturdy. The drawers slide smoothly, and it is well designed and constructed. However, it took a very long time to assemble, and some parts of the assembly were harder than they needed to be. There were no holes drilled for the screws to put on the backing, so I used tacks instead of the provided screws. Also it was not possible to get the screws in deep enough for the drawer stops, so the drawers can slide out if I am not careful. But I am glad I bought the unit because, once I had it together, it was ideal for my needs.

Example: two pieces for the drawer side could be mounted more than one way and fit, but a slot on the other side had to be oriented a certain way. I'm also fairly sure that how it showed how to install the hinges was backwards.I didn't bother contacting the company about the missing parts since 1. I was only missing three and, more importantly, 2. the wooden dowel things were small compared to the he's, hence the loose final product.

I put in my bathroom for extra cleaning supply storage. It was easy to follow the instructions. I like the lay out of instructions with each step it showed the hardware to use with the cabinet piece. I hand screwed each screw. Also, the back piece is screwed in not nails which is a bonus. It took me several hours but well worth it. It seems to be sturdy. It does seem small at first fits my space perfectly. Suprising how much it really holds. It looks nice in my space.

This little cabinet is perfect for small spaces. It is sturdy, practical and easy to assemble.However, it smells so bad that even 48 hours after it was built + thoroughly cleaned and aired out, it burns noses/lungs with a SEVERE chemical smell. I had to remove two stars for that alone.It stinks and burns so badly that I likely wouldn’t have bought it had I known. Unfortunate because the aesthetic is really cute and the quality is there.

I am using the cabinet in my sewing room for material storage and it holds an amazing amount!I Just love it , sturdy, spacious, and really good quality!!!Putting it together was a nightmare !!!!!

Very pleased with this cabinet, took awhile to assemble as instructions were not that clear. Very sturdy & works well in our kitchen

It's nice but cheap furniture is cheap which is reflected in the price. Back in the day, people used to carve furniture out of wood. They'd use a whole tree and whittle it down to one chair. That's why we make stuff out of saw dust now. You can get at least three chairs out of one tree.

The cabinet is beautiful but much smaller than expected for the price we paid.
