Decent for the money, glass is a tad sharp
This stand is actually bigger than I thought it was gonna be. But honestly, I didn’t pay much attention to the specs since I really just needed it for my microwave and a little added storage. Putting it together was a bit of a pain, majority of the boards aren’t labeled, so you just have to figure it out as you go.Putting the glass in was a bit of a pain too since there’s no predrilled holes, but it doesn’t take long. I will say I made a major oops, and I blame it on pregnancy brain! Putting the glass doors in, I forgot the glass wasn’t finished around the edges and wound up slicing through my finger from the tip down all along side my nail…not fun and definitely needed stitches but I have 4 kids and don’t have time for that, so lots of bandages it is! Otherwise, looks great, seems sturdy enough for now and it was on sale! I saw similar pieces on wayfair for $300-$400 and from my experience with wayfair, the quality wouldn’t be much better. So I’m pretty happy with it!

A PAIN in the ass to assemble but definitely worth it
Take your time reading the instructions. I ended up with the piece (counter) that goes above the drawer upside down when it was too late to reassemble. Make sure white parts are up and not down. You need a lot of room to assemble this. It took me way too long to figure this out. I'm good at IKEA furniture but I feel like this was more complicated than anything I've assembled before. It's perfect. Didn't use the glass doors either for my purpose.

Good enough
I bought this as a pantry, and now that it's assembled it works well in my kitchen and I'm glad I have it.However, if you decide to get this, be prepared for a few things:1. This cabinet takes a LOT of time to put together. In the box I received, not all of the pieces were labeled, and some were mislabeled. The instructions/drawings are not totally clear (definitely not IKEA level), and it took some serious brain power to figure out what to do at times. After about 6 hours, which included drilling extra holes and using separate screws for the drawers (the holes in the metal drawer support pieces were too big for the screws provided and they kept falling out), it was finally done. Pro tip: make sure the cabinet is level and aligned in ALL directions BEFORE nailing the backing on.2. It's pretty cheaply made: pressboard, plastic handles for the drawers and doors, and a flimsy, taped-together backing. You can see the tape inside the cabinet if you don't put the shelves across the line where the tape holds the backing together. If you're not careful, you can easily damage the backing (and other parts) while putting it together.3. If you're going to put a microwave on it (which we did), make sure the cord is long enough to reach a plug beforehand. There is a hole in the back of the cabinet for the cord, but (as we discovered) microwave power cords are pretty short, and the extra few inches it takes to travel through the back of the cabinet might make a difference. We put the cabinet next to the fridge in our kitchen, and the cord just *barely* reaches the plug behind the fridge.Overall, I gave this a 4 because it looks nice enough, is as advertised, and was a decent price for what it is.

It's a trap!
I confess. I rolled my eyes at some of the reviews. I assumed the people complaining about the styrofoam mess just hadn’t been careful enough taking things out of the box. I assumed that people who took too long to assemble this were just incompetent or inexperienced with flat-pack furniture. I assumed that those who complained of missing parts were just disorganized and had mislaid them during assembly. Forgive me, for I have sinned.I took a gamble on this thing. Then I had second thoughts and tried to cancel my order, but it was too late. It had already shipped. When the box arrived miraculously undamaged, my hope was rekindled. Perhaps I would be one of the lucky ones and it would all work out. But like most temptations, it turned out to be a trap. From the moment we opened the box, things went south.1. Condition. As I said before, the box arrived in perfect condition. I thought this would save me from the damaged parts others had complained about, but it didn’t. Somehow, the pieces were still badly scuffed and crushed at some of the corners. It clearly wasn’t a returned item, so the damage must have happened at the factory. Unfortunately, some of the damage is front and center on the cabinet doors.2. Missing Parts. We checked the parts carefully, and the following parts were missing: 1 door support spring (part K), and 1 mirror bracket (part C). K is used to hold the cabinet doors in place and C is used to hold the glass onto the upper cabinet doors.3. Assembly. Meh. The instructions weren’t fantastic, but they were clear enough. It helps that ours had correctly-labeled parts. Others haven’t been so lucky. We’re also able-bodied people with a decent amount of handyman experience and a ton of flat-pack furniture experience. Moving carefully, to avoid some of the pitfalls others have warned about, we clocked our assembly at 4 hours. You could go faster if you just slap it together, but 90 minutes would be pushing it. And don’t forget to add another hour or so for cleanup, even if you try to clean as you go.4. Quality. Nope. I mean, the pressed board is dense enough, so that’s good. And I appreciate that the upper cabinet doors have decent glass instead of floppy plastic. But that’s about the best I can say. I’m not a furniture snob. I have plenty of particle-board furniture that’s been serving its purpose well for years. But I don’t see this one lasting. Even with our very careful assembly, it feels wobbly. And the drawer bottom is nailed on from below, which means gravity is working against it staying together. Over time, the weight of anything in the drawer will pull the nails out. If this had been 50 dollars, I might just shrug and say "you get what you pay for." But it's way overpriced for this level of quality.5. The styrofoam. Yeah, we really need to talk about this. I have more styrofoam experience than the average person (from previous jobs), and this styrofoam is different. It’s mutant. It’s an entity. People who live in an extremely humid climate might have less trouble, but where I am, even though it’s summer, the styrofoam bits were animated by static electricity until they took on a life of their own. Large chunks, beanbag-style balls, thin flakes... They all fly through the air and stick to the nearest object. They dart along surfaces like they're being pulled by magnets. They jump from one surface to another until they're across the room without any assistance from us. It's nuts. In my overconfidence, I thought I could control this entity by carefully vacuuming as we went along, removing the bits before they could get anywhere. But by the time we got the first furniture part out of the box, the vacuum cleaner was full, and there were styrofoam bits all over my kitchen, our clothes, in our hair, in adjacent rooms we hadn’t even walked into. And when I opened the hall door, which had been closed the whole time, there was a pile of foam that had migrated under the door into the hall (on the opposite side of the room from where we were assembling). I don’t even know how that’s possible. I know what you’re thinking, but there’s no ceiling fan in either of those rooms, and we had the windows closed. The foam also sticks relentlessly to everything. It took me 20 minutes just to get my vacuum cleaner more-or-less clean again. For most of us, this is only a time-suck and a nuisance. But for those with pets or toddlers who might be tempted to snack on the bits, it’s a genuine danger. You might think you can get it all cleaned up, but you’ll be finding pieces in mysterious places days later (if your babies and fur babies don’t find them first).Ok, so I’ve confessed, done my penance, and now I’m trying to save you from the same temptation. The gamble is just not worth it. Especially at this price. And especially considering how many other cheap furniture options are out there. Choose something else. I didn’t listen to the warnings, but you still have a chance.
