My adopted chihuahua screams like I’mMurdering him if I’m touch his front paws, therefore unable to trim his nails. Put him in this sling and hung him up in the closet. He stayed very relaxed and didn’t get squirmy until the last paw but we got them all clipped with no nicks. He’s been so much more trusting with me touching his paws and putting his sweaters on him and when I have to pull his leg through. Great pup helper.

Ok, so I have a maniacally jiggly mini Aussie (approx 25lbs, bought a size S) who acts like a caffeinated humanoid 95% of the time - and being that he is Aussie, he grows 'pants' on his hindquarters - and pants can often get messy...This device somehow calmed him down - so odd, but I guess hammocks calm most creatures - and I was able to trim down his booty floof as well as his frizzy, over grown, bat-like ears, and 'grinch paws!' I didn't attempt to do his toes yet, but I am happy to report, he didn't seem in the least bit traumatized after, and he happily ate some bacon as soon as he was let loose from his pretty boy hammock.The metal tooth comb, nail file and carabiners are all high quality too!Such a good boy!!! A huge help with pups who really hate nail trimming. They are so much calmer in this canopy. But runs small. Definitely size up.

I only received the sling and none of the other items (nail clippers, comb, etc)Returning item.The sling looks like it’s well made though. Small size seems appropriate for my pugs.

Only thing I have found that allows me to cut my dogs nails. Perfect and you don't get bit. My dogs actually enjoyed it and gave training treats which they loved while cutting.

For the first time ever, I was able to trim my Shih Tzu's face with no struggle at all. He was calm and relaxed after about 30 seconds of placing him in the harness. I trimmed his legs and paws much easier as well. I probably should have purchased a smaller harness as it was not possible to trim his backside while fully in the harness. I used just the front legs in the harness and a different strap under the belly, and that was perfect. I wish that I got this year's ago. It would have saved so much time and stress on my dog. Highly recommend it.

Yeah good luck getting a cat into this.It's not snug enough and if you have the type of cat that won't try to kill you for putting it in this than you don't need it anyway.

My cat used to let me cut her nails, no problem. The older (and wiser?) she gets, she was starting to refuse. I could get a couple of nails done at a time, but then have to remember which ones still needing trimming over the next few days. Grrr. Neither of us was happy about it. I tried this grooming hammock, and it worked like a charm! I tried to find videos of cats going crazy in the hammock, which is what I expected from my cat, but couldn't find any. Do they only take videos of calm cats? How was mine going to react? She was calm in the hammock too!. She purred (not in a "this is awesome" way), but the purr cats make at the vets: accepting, resigned, but generally ok with the situation. I clipped all nails in just a couple of minutes. My challenge was finding where to hang the hammock during the nail trimming. I came up with using the folding table I'd purchased from Amazon a while ago, turned it upside down, and that worked great. It was very stable and low to the ground.
