Most products like this have a default static IP assigned at the factory, and they come with a tool to configure that IP address. Not this one! Works find if you're connecting it to a router that supplies IP addresses. Great image. Be aware that the IR filter is LOUD, so if you need this to be stealthy you should listen for clicking when it powers up or when it gets dark and see if that's OK for you. (Mine's going in a mailbox and I'm worried the postman will think twice.)If you're connecting it to an NVR (Dahua in my case), choose the NVR's option for ONVIF and know that the default login is admin/123456 (you should change that!). My NVR could see the camera at first, when it was the only one, but not after connecting other cameras. You'll need to download the mythical IPC Batch Tool (which I found a working copy of on hfwvision.com), to find and change the camera's IP. Be prepared to change your network IP a couple of times, because the cam must be a fixed IP in the NVR's address space. Not a job for beginners.

I have the waterproof outdoor model of the camera, and can actually put out 30 frames per second in H264 or H265 in RTSP or OnVif. The 30 FPS resolution is maxed at 2560 x 1440 (approximately 2x the resolution of 1080p). The device has an adjustable shutter speed, and all the features and functionality of the higher end cameras in an EXTREMELY small form factor. This is ideal for cameras which are not intended as a deterrent, but rather where you need to have a video stream without bringing much attention to the camera. High quality metal, good firmware (with a few wrong English words) but otherwise, checks all the boxes, and does what it needs to do very well. Dynamic IP Address acquisition, which can identified via your router or DHCP server, then you can login and assign it a static IP address. I personally would suggest you block its IP from accessing the internet, and access the video stream via your security server. Supports standard POE, so you only need an Ethernet cable to the location it is placed. Great value for a VERY low price. Get it...

Worked flawless for 5 months, there app crashes all the time on my cellphone but throw the NVR wonderful. Purchased Apr 21, 2023, It just stopped, doesn't get warm anymore, no blinking, checked cable and that was all good. Hoped it would have lasted longer.Decided to remove the 4 screws an water came pouring out, it wasn't protected, just out in the open for 5 months. There is a rubber gasket an the screws were all tight, I haven't figured out how the water got in, I wonder if the water seeped throw the front?

10M of infrared is a little lacking for a 5mp camera with a 3.6mm lens and 1/3" sensor. You also cannot control the IR, it comes on using a photoresistor, and cannot be turned off, but you can force it to color mode at night if you have enough lighting to use it.The cameras resolution can see much further.this is the first cheap amazon camera I got that I liked.the Web browser interface works in edge with ie compatibility enabled, and is better than most cameras this price.Its pretty ruggedly made, looks and feels a little like an aftermarket LED pod light housing for an off road vehicle. The image looks great, and unlike other cheap cameras it streamed consistently without dropping offline every few min. like my "bluefishcam"

Great wide angle picture from very small camera. Trouble at first connecting to Windows PC running 11Pro, but fast help from manufacturer solved issue. Now running on PC and Android phone. Exactly what we needed without large camera cluttering up limited work space.

This camera is ONVIF compatible, POE power supply is good. The camera image quality is excellent.it works well , very wide view, and no distortion.I like this camera , especially for the price and quality.

Not sure what's going on here but it doesn't seem to work. Tried the RTSP URL in the manual and my clients all say its an unsupported format nomater what options I configure for the stream settings. I also attempted to use ONVIF but my NVR and the software I tried both seem to think the camera doesn't exist. Although I can edit the configuration in the web browser at its IP, I also can't see the live video due to a MIME TYPE error on the camera's web-UI.

expected the camera to live up to the stated 2880 x 1616 resolution. it does not, its 704x576. low light potato vision.

Worked well and connected to a hik vision nvr Set to YOU MAYNEED TO GO IN TO THE CAMERA SETTINGS TO FIND THE IP ADDRESS OF THE CAMERA AND CHANGE TO THE IP RANGE OF THE RECORDER YOU ARE USING

Caméras de bonne qualité : bonne image, vision nocturne très correcte, utilisation en POE...Quelques difficultés pour récupérer le flux en dehors de l'application et modèles différents sans mise en garde (j'en ai acheté 6, il y avait 2 lots avec des paramètres différents). D'où les 4 étoiles

Camara pinhole IP POE perfecta para camuflar en cualquier sitio, la he instalado con un NVR IP que soporta hasta 12 Mpx el gravador ya tiene puertos con POE aunque supongo que con un switch POE o un inyector y spliter funcionaria igual. Imagen de buena definicion. Ni tan siquiera tuve que confugurar nada, el NVR la encontro al momento. Producto muy recomendable, evidentemente no tiene vision nocturna entonces al ver los emisores IR ya no seria camuflable.

Klein und Handlich, klares Bild auch in der Dunkelheit. Lässt sich super einfach in die Surveillance Station einbinden. Ein eingebautes Mikrofon vermisse ich, ist aber nicht Bestandteil dieses Gerätes
