I’m currently wearing a knee high boot for a total of 8 weeks. I was surprised at how nice and comfortable they are. They go all the way up to my knee I highly recommend them. I wear one for 2 days and that seems sufficient for my needs. They wash up perfectly, provide plenty of protection for the boot and just the right thickness. I also like that they have grippers on the bottom so they don’t slip in the boot.

I bought these as another pair of socks to use in my air cast when I broke a bone in my foot recently. My cast is the one that goes to the knee. The hospital had supplied me with one heavy duty thick white sock and naturally I needed more. I purchased two more thick white socks on Amazon but they make my leg and foot so hot and sweaty, I decided to try these. So much better! They are much thinner, don’t slip down my leg and best of all for me is they are very stretchy. I have large calves and they fit perfectly and do not leave marks. They are not tight at all. Just perfect. I think the heavier one the hospital gave me gave more cushion to my injury at first but after three weeks in my cast and since all the foot swelling I had at first caused by my injury is now gone, the thinner ones work much better.

These have worked great for what I needed. I still need something under them for cushion and because my skin is super sensitive right now, but these are so stretchy that they easily fit over the gauze and ace bandage layers. My feet also get hot easily and these havent made them hot.

I broke my ankle a month ago and have a walking boot that requires a sock. I hate wearing socks and generally do not like having things on my feet - but I love this product! It is lightweight which allows my foot to breathe - not at all restricting around the calf - and most importantly, it provides a comforting/soothing feeling for my foot when I pull it on. Recovering from this surgery has been rough - so I appreciate any bit of comfort I can find!! I have been alternating use between the socks - and both are holding up well. I highly recommend this product.

Very comfortable and stretchy. It covers my leg up to my knee so the boot doesn’t rub against my leg. It’s not a compression sock if you’re looking for that.

The good reviews are correct. These are comfortable. They don’t make my leg feel hot either - and it’s 90 degree weather now. I’ve washed and dried them on low. The only tiny complaint I have is that the top rolls a little - but really very happy with them!!

Broke my leg recently and I was looking for something to wear in the boot. I got these to try out loved them so much I bought another pack so I would have enough to change everyday. They are soft and stretchy to get over your foot and the sock fits loosely but stays in place. I have bigger calves and was worried about the fit but they are great.

I love these. I use them for my airboat and not only do they feel comfortable they offer a bit of compression to my foot so it doesn’t get uncomfortable or banged around at my job. It is breathable and washes well in the washing machine. The one downside is that they do get torn a bit when coming in and out of the airboot though they are thick enough to where they haven’t had any holes yet.

These socks significantly improve the comfort of wearing an orthopaedic boot. The material is nice and soft and offered sufficient padding. I did take them off during the night as I felt I needed my leg and foot to air but it would be possible to sleep with them on. I’m not sure if they would suit anyone with large calves. While the top section is very stretchy the elastic around the very top rim might dig in, it left a slight mark around my leg at the end of the day and I my legs are pretty standard girth for a woman. I’m glad I made this purchase, these socks are good quality and made wearing the boot way more bearable.

The waffle texture was corse and uncomfortable on my wee recovering sensitive leg, and the lack of ankle bend works for the socks that came with my aircast, but with these socks, I couldn't get rid of a thick material fold at my ankle and as a nurse myself, I know folds mean pressure, and pressure means damage. I used them for 2 days thinking it was just me being a princess, but ordered some other thick knee high socks and thank goodness because these other socks are much more comfortable and don't have material folds. Don't get these, get other knee high comfortable socks.

The leg bit is OK but the sock part is too small for a swollen foot which is size 10 shoe size normally, bought size large. But far too small and not as stretchy as it shows in the pictures.
