The media could not be loaded. I got this lamp to help with the aptly named “SAD” which has been hitting me pretty hard lately and it has helped a bunch after using it for a few days now. The way I used this product is I would wake up in the morning and turn on the lamp for about 30 minutes to help me wake up.Pros:- Goes up to 10000 lum: I found this to be great because that is what all of the websites I have read recommend for it to be the most effective.- Different light settings: nice for when I wake up I don’t immediately blast myself with a piercing light, that way I can slowly increase the intensity as I begin to wake up.- Heavy base with rubber padding: was not expecting this to have such a weighty and sturdy construction, it really helps with preventing it getting knocked over. The rubber base also helps keep it from moving from the accidental elbow.Cons:- Buttons: these buttons are touch sensitive “tap” buttons, meaning just touching them turns on the lamp. I thought this would be a cool feature until I got it, imagine my surprise as I try to turn it on early in the morning and I accidentally hit the max light button instead of the dimmer after blindly searching for the right area. More often than not I have to tilt the light down (which often accidentally turns it on as I grab the top) and look to tap the setting I want .TLDR/Final thoughts:- Great light therapy lamp at an affordable price (especially on sale) with very durable construction, but decide before purchasing if you are ok with dealing with the touch sensitive “tap” buttons.

I live in the PNW and I am very low in vitamin D so I bought this to help my body make it Vitamin D I keep it by my bed and when I wake up I turn it on immediately while having my coffee. It’s important to get it right when you wake up. It has different setting with a touch of a finger and the different light settings is perfect. It helps you circadian rhythm get in check. I bought this light a little over a year ago, and it did exactly what I hoped it would do! I have POTS and my health severely declines in the months with less sunlight, accept when I use a sunlight lamp in the mornings to mimic a longer day. This lamp did the job for about a year, but it suddenly stopped working recently. I'm not sure why...sometimes it works, then sometimes it doesn't. I need something that consistently works that I can rely on. However, it is so handy that this light is so small, compact, and portable. For the price it is a good product, but for me it didn't last much more than a year.

This lamp is attractive and extremely easy to use. No programming, just a light tough to the buttons. Varying degrees of brightness and can be timed. I've never purchased a light panel before so this is new to me. I use it on my desk early every morning while I have my coffee and work in the computer. Usually for an hour plus at the highest brightness. Occasionally at other times in the day. In less than a week it has boosted my energy and improved my sleep patterns. I was skeptical at first but after using it at work for a few minutes a day I have noticed a difference in my mood. It gives me a little extra sunlight while in my office doing paperwork. It has several light settings, but the lowest one seems to work best for me. The light also appears to be well built and affordable. The light mixed with good music helps a lot when you can’t be outside enjoying a sunny warm day during the winter months.
