Fit Kawasaki FC290V
Purchased to replace missing fuel cap on a Sutech walk behind mower with a Kawasaki FC290V engine. Fit on and tightened securely.

rubber gasket dissolves immediately!
The cap looked great, fit great and worked great for 1 day. The next day when I added gas, I immediately saw this big black goober hanging from the cap's threading. It was the rubber gasket that seats the cap. Another blob/chunk was in the gas tank. The gas from my local station has ethanol and my guess is that the rubber they used doesn't hold up to ethanol but I didn't read anything warning me about that.Don't buy this cap!
